First day home - who can relate?
dreamingsmall replied to YummyMummy303's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes obviously something was down your throat during surgery. Didn't you perhaps research what the surgery involves? Belching for me is a sign I've eaten to much. Lieing on your side is fine. Frozen smoothie 24 hours after surgery is probably not a good idea. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app -
Are you male or female? I'm female I can only eat a mouthful short of one boiled egg. But for some reason I may be able to eat more if scrambled but I like to eat what causes me the most restrictions. I'm 4 months post. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app

My usual breakfast ( I don't know if this is optimal or the macros maybe someone else will know. 2 ounce egg whites 1 ounce spinnach 1 ounce cheese. It's so filling for me but not high calories Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app

I was told a man's stomach is longer than a woman's so you'd have more space. But I'd make sure you eat slower. I'd eat one egg have a break a minute just to make sure you need that second egg the suggestions above makes perfect sense. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app

How far post are you again ? Your doctor said you should be having two scrabbldd egg right from first time trying food? That's interesting. I wouldn't lose hope as you are still healing. Your full signs will be different and those will be easier to recognize as you go. I burp when I'm getting abit full. I wonder how you would get on with steak Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app

No she wouldn't be the first. She also wouldn't be the first to wake up after being put under to find out they didn't have surgery. Good your surgery went well and yes we are all human but to be sure and also about being able to stick to something to prepare you for the liquid diet after it's best to not have plans of cheating in mind because alot of people can't get back on the wagon as you did Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app

dreamingsmall replied to downsizing2017's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If your plan is low carb. Then no it is not okay. My plan is not low carb so it is okay for me. You need to be aware what is in your plan not eat things you see others at your stage eating when it may not be on your plan. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app -

Anyone get busted lying about their surgery?
dreamingsmall replied to VSGnewguy's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I didn't know people actually lie about it. So I assumed you meant people who don't tell people fullstop. I have a bad memory so I don't have the capacity to come up with a story lol Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app -
Why is it a secret?
dreamingsmall replied to UndercoverDiet's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was also going to say everyone will watch you putting food in your mouth. I don't wish to be you. I'm happy to be on this secret journey. Very peaceful. Some people don't mind all the issues that come with being open more power to them.its not for me. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app -
Why is it a secret?
dreamingsmall replied to UndercoverDiet's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I knew this would happen. I was going to say let's wait and see how excited she is about exposing her self. But people will call you catty. At the end of the day I have no regrets for not telling people who have no importance to me..more people regretting telling people.. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app -
I can't get used to being thinner!
dreamingsmall replied to DianeJarrett's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It's not all about clothes size it's about the body too. I'm not average weight. I'm obese. Were as someone else can be a 14 and healthy weight. The UK average is not a 180lb woman at 5 foot 2. And lastly a 14 UK is not the same as 14US so I'm probably a 16US. I still can't find clothes in some standard stores here.Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app
