:smile:I went to my appointment today, i am seven months post-op.i am 95lbs down i cannot believe it. he would not give me a fill today i lost 14 pounds between june-july.this would have been my six fill. but i go back next month.just wanted to share. sil:thumbup:

congrats on your surgery date.i remember the time when i was waiting anxiously.sept will be here before you know it.do you have to do a pre-op diet.an where are you going to be banded.i did not have a pre-op diet an boy was i happy.i had to do the six months dietian classes.

on the news today a mother was aressted for neglect. what do you think. hes only fourteen years old.where was the intervention, where was the teachers, she says she was working. the kid is in foster care.he did not get this way overnight. what do you think.

yea i love my band. its been 7 months so far. i lost 86 pounds.it all started in april 08- sept 08.was my last weight in. for the six months dietian classes.lost 27lbs at that point.girl i had to wait 4 more months before the surgery. an lost another 20lbs. so i had to maintain that weight. until january 09. throughout the holidays. all that thanksgiving food, an don,t forget christmas. but with the lords help. i maintain that weight.i started off at 324 before surgery. the time of surgery i was 285. today with the help of fills i weight 237. so i have come a long way from where i used to be. so yes i love my band.the good, the bad, an the ugly. it comes with the territory.it was worth it for me.

i had lost 13 pounds within that week. after my 5th fill. because i got scared an ran to the doctor. but he said everything was ok. that was in may during that memorial day weekend. i still do not consume that many calories a day. maybe 400- 500. hope you feel better.

thank god i don,t my docotr hits it right everytime. i just push forward with my hands behind my head. like a situp position an i close my eyes everytime. this is my fifth fill so far. i go monday for my sixth one. but the area is starting to feel a little sore.

I did not start losing weight until my 4th fill.an i lost 12poundswithin that week.an during my 5th fill i have lost another 10-12 pounds this june-july. i go for my 6th fill monday.

That was my main concern. when i did mine i weighted 324 pounds. but i had lost 30 by the time i has my test. that help a lot.i had to do the treadmill test.which was my first time ever on one. i had to do the heart test. hang in there, it will happen.i had to wait 4 months before my surgery. at first i was so mad but everything happens for a reason. good luck.

I was banded on january 13th 09. had diabetes for six years. the day before surgery i was taken off my diabetes medication an have not been back on since, its been seven months. an was also taken off my high cholestral meds.so far everything is going great.

I seen the show. he was also featured on oprah. with his best friend. but i did see all that excess skin. when he pull it out. an it just fell. my goodness that was a lot.i love watching tlc. it has so many different out of this world stuff. that you have not seen before. like the tree man the lady who eats 33000 calories a day. the man with the exploding arms. conjoined twins the tumor man. just stuff you would not believe.

i have a statonary bike. this june of 09 will be a year that i have started exercisng. i get on the bike 7 days a week for 30 minutes a day, but now its 45 minutes.

the same apply to me now in the mornings i can barley get coffee down.an for lunch sometimes its ok. then again when i try to eat yogurt i can only eat about two teaspon full.an again at night same thing.

hi i have the 4cc band. an i am on my 4th fill. an i have plenty restriction.it does work. so far i have lost 76lbs.

I know that when i sleep on my stomach i can feel the port.now i can feel it all the time. sometimes its very annoying.lets just say i know its there.

When i first join this site it was in march of 08,i stayed on all the time. just enjoyed all the info.read every post.had my surgery in janary 09.i still come on everyday to see the new posts.even though i do not like this page.i like the old one(ALEX).

Today i went in for my fifth fill.i had an appointment for june 15th but i postpone it due to my daughter graduation.i did not want to feel sick.because the last fill kick in the next day.an i felt nasty.anyway i went to his office at 11:00.this time he did not give me 1/2cc.he only gave me .3cc.guest he did not wanna overdo it.i still have restriction from last month but as time goes on you can fell it fade away. well not all the way.my daughter is a high school graduate.she will be going to college. i am so proud of her. thats my baby girl.hope everyone is doing great on your journey.sil:thumbup::thumbup:

I went in for my fourth fill last month.on monday by thursday i lost 12pounds. i thought i was too tight.plus i got a little scared.went to the doctor the next day turns out my band swells when you get a fill.because i could not get liquids down.plus it was the holiday weekend. i did not wanna be stuck.he said i was doing fine.he told me to go home.
