hi i had to do a 6 months supervised dietian classes with a nutritionist,of your dr, had to go every month for six months, then you have to do pre-op testing, talk to your doctor or surgeon, to see what they require i had to do, chest xray ekg stress testpart 1,2. pulmonary test pscyh evaluation. call your insurance to see what they require for lapband, surgery. hope this help. good luck

hang in their you can do it,i still have no date yet, just waiting. my daughter went trickortreating last night she came back with lots of candy so i had 3 minatures muskerteers, 1 nestle crunch, small bag of pretzels i couldn,t resist, but i got on my exercise bike the next day hope it didn,t hurt anything. i,ll be rooting for you good luck on your journey.

hello love the lori logo did you design it your self. soft foods phase two, thinly cooked cereals made with skim milk (grits, farina, cream of wheat) low fat or fat free cottage cheese without fruit added lowfat or fat free cheese eggsor egg subsitutes(boiled or cooked in PAMor cooking spray) light yogurt, sweetened with a non-nutritive sweetner canned fruit or vegetables(injuice or water not syrup, drained) lowfat cream soups(strained) baked or mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, or yams (cooked until soft and do not eat the skin. use only use water, skim milk, or chicken broth to moisten.) skinless chicken(baked, boiled, or grilled- not fried) hope this helps got it from my nutrionist. sil

they better not mind you bring those beautiful twins, when i went to my classes, i caught the bus it is a hour drive all the wat to yale newhaven only to spend 10-15 minutes with the dietian go figure, the first time i went i took maybe 30 minutes to an hour. from then on maybe 10 minutes each session as long as i didn,t miss a class i had to go once a month for 6 months. anyway welcome aboard. good luck on your new journey in life.

it,s up to you an only you, i only told my bf, my 19year an my daughter18 i have a good friend i talk to everyday on the phone, but i haven,t told her, i will after surgery, she,s really small like a string bean, but she knows i,m trying todrop some pounds, but as you know or will find out some people will be judmental including your friends, not bashing them but its depends on which one you can relate to or the close one.i say if you wanna go for it you got my vote.

i took that test the first of the year, when i went to the doctor i piss a whole lot especially at night, i get up around 2:30 everynight, but my test came back ok. wish you luck pissing{smile}.

no it,s not just you it started this morning, when you want to reply,it don,t go so i have seen multiple replys,on a page when someone answer a question.

hi the same here tquad64, unless you want people to know, it,s noones business, only told my bf, an my two children my 19, year old son, an my 18 year old daughter, they are with me all the way,maybe after surgery i will tell my sisters,&other family members but i see no reason to go blurting it out all over the place, i,m a private person anyway.unless they ask i ain,t telling noone.something people have the tendency to judge. my psych told me i should shout it from the rooftop.i,m like yeah right.it,s up to the personwho,s having the surgery regardless.

no haven,t got a date yet but i,m waiting on my pulmonary clearance. i took the test last wednesday, the nurse says it takes a week. then fax them to doctor bell office, his nurse will call me for a informative session, i don,t know if it,s one on one with the doctor or what. i know this waiting is something else.my process started in april. good luck everyone.

my psych test was oct,2 he sent in the mail about 20 questions. for me to fill out went to his office for about 15 minutes, paid him 150.00 an was aprove. even though he shock me when he held up a picture of himself. my doctor is his doctor he was a ryn patient 7 years ago. he looks great.

I NEVER HAD ONE DONE BEFORE WHAT AN EXPERIENCE, THE LAST PART I HAD TO BLOW FAST IN AN OUT AS FAST AS I COULD, SHE SAID I DID GOOD.I HAD TO STICK A TUBE IN MY MOUTH AN BLOW.
