hi i had to do the 6months dietian classes, with the nutrition. they give you a good idea of the foods you are suppose to eat. an they document weight every visit mine told me it,s to prove to insurance that you could lose the weight.at first i was not serious.but when she told me that i got on the ball.since april 08.-dec 08- i have drop 40lbs.i will be banded in january 13/09. so it is worth it.i thought this day will never come.you can do it.

congrats on your date. mine is in january.you can do it just stick to liquids, i drink eas drinks it,s for weight loss.twice a day.you can find them at walgreens,shoprite stop&shop.good luck.

i had my pulmonary test in oct, they had you blow into a mouth piece.about four different times inhale deep blow long.then she had me blow in an out really fast.then she had me pant,quick quick quick.then she had me inhale really deep then she said blowreal long until you can,t blow anymore,which means you can,t inhale while blowing in the tube.but i mess up about three times an had to do it over but overall i pass.hope it help.sil

i had to do the 6months supervised classes for 6 months thats when you go to the doctor or nutrition for every month for six months they weigh you an talk about food choices. give you a menu to follow. they document your weight.for insurance.

hi my name is (sil) not banded yet,will be january 13th,08.my starting eweight=324.did six months classes,lost27lbs.as of sept3rd, now nov 26th, weight 282.4 pounds so that,s 40lbs gone. trying hard to maintain. height=5'3 goal=155/160 reason=type2 diabetes,high blood pressure ,high chlolesteral.an for overall health an occourse who does,nt wanna look good. i wanna be able to bend over to tie my shoes i wanna ride a rollercoaster an not be shamed because my stomach is too big so the buckle won,t snap close i wanna be able to go up a flight of stairs without being out of breath,i wanna be able to walk long distance to keep up with other people without stopping. i wanna be around to live for my 18year lod daughter&my 19year old son ,i just wanna live lifeto the fullest.because when you have weight on you it,s not pretty. an i thank god almighty for giving me a second chance.it,s been a constance struggle,but now since i have lost 40lbs i can see a big difference, i have change the way i,m eating,no more junk foods an other that was,nt good for me i exercise twice a day on my stationary bike.i think i,m ready.so good luck to everyone on your journey in life.sil
