I'm only allowed 2 replacement shakes a day (I've been going back and forth with atkins and premiere) with a lean cuisine for the first 7 days. The last 3 days is a clear liquid diet. It does feel amazing losing weight before! 10 pounds is amazing! This whole process has been very challenging and long. I'm glad I'm almost at the end of the tunnel. It sure has changed my eating habits and not to mention my portion size. Before my pre-op diet, my friends wanted to have a party and have great food as my "last meal", I only ate half of taco and felt sick to my stomach. I couldn't even enjoy the piece of cake I had. The chocolate protein shakes will have to do now. lol You will be in my thoughts and prayers as we start this amazing journey together!

I'm March 6th!

Hello Everyone, I recently received my date for March 6th, 2018! I'm super stoked! Anyone else scheduled for this day? Would love to share our experiences.

I just received the call from my doctors office. Of course with not the news I was hoping for. She told me that I will hear from someone else to schedule a pre-surgery appointment (to meet with a nurse and I have to go to a support group), then will schedule the surgery by the end of this week. Ugh! Good thing is she said they will try to fit me in on a tuesday or wednesday for surgery if needed. She thanked me for my patience but I'm soooooo not patient! I just want to get my date! Now I have to keep myself busy this week so it doesn't bother me all week. Does anyone know what will happen if you gain some weight back before your surgery? I'm 10 pounds less than what they wanted me to be. I didn't eat so great this weekend (due to the superbowl) and when I weighed myself this morning I gained 3 pounds.

I left a message with the lady on Friday so I'll probably try to call her back in a little bit. I'm hoping to get my date asap. I'll keep you posted!

Yayyy so excited!!!! My doctor only schedules the bypass on Mondays so I'm hoping for the 19th or 26th. I'm thinking the 26th is more realistic given I need to start the liquid diet. Did they give you any instructions after scheduling? Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app

I called my insurance once again this morning and was told that I will have an answer by February 6th. Apparently my file gets reviewed by a nurse before approval. Yayyyy!!!! I marked my calendar!

I've read a lot to bring your own Pjs. I bought a sleep shirt as I saw on a youtube video someone brought hers. Then I'm hearing pj bottoms are best. Do you think it would be too much to bring a chromecast or my firestick? lol That's probably being real extra but I never have time to watch tv so it will be perfect to binge on netflix series.
