I regret this surgery
a new life replied to QueenTiff's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You sound overwhelmed and frustrated. In addition to the physiological changes you can go through some psychological stuff - depression, irritability, etc. Maybe you're experiencing some of that. Do you have anyone to talk to IRL? Hopefully that would help. I'm 11 days out it's challenging for me right now also - I'm def feeling irritable some days. I hope you feel better soon. -

Yup, that's one of the things I'm worried about. It's great that you're able to control it! -

Congrats on your surgery date! I swing between excitement and being nervous. My name is Margaret. -
Try adding sucralose (Splenda) and cinnamon to taste. Delicious! Are you familiar with EZ-Sweetz? It's liquid sucralose and mixes wonderfully with yogurt and everything else. It may seem kind of pricey for a small amount but a little of that stuff goes a really long way. I love it.

Any August 2017 Sleevers?
a new life replied to Jessalene's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am scheduled for gastric sleeve surgery on Monday, 8/28. I'm nervous - not about the surgery itself, but about what happens after. I'm also having these irrational (?) fears that the surgery work for me - that I'll be ravenously hungry, that my metabolism won't let me lose weight. But, another part of me is optimistic that I'll lose weight and keep it off. Yikes! I'm nervous.
