Hello Lilmoose, My surgery is at the end of this week. I am so nervous. I am worried about any negative health issues afterwards. However, most literature indicates that the surgery helps your overall health. I am hoping that the surgery will help resolve my co-morbidities. Thank you for your comments. This discussion board really helps reading about people's experiences. I am glad to read that you are feeling great!

Hello, Thank you for your response. It is appreciated. I lost 40 pounds 4 years ago and gained it all back within 2 to 3 years. If you do not mind me asking, did the surgery help correct the diabetes?
