Mine is on the 13th as well! I'm meeting with a nurse and a physiotherapist tomorrow to go through everything during op and post op [emoji16]Hey there ! I have one week of pre op diet left too. My surgery is 10/13. I just had my call with the OR and it feels so real now ! There were so many instructions I wasn’t expecting. It was so thorough which I liked.
when is your date

I'm starting the pre-op diet on the 29th. Not really looking forward to it 😅 But I can't wait to have the surgery!

I'm excited to start mine because I'm that much closer to surgery. But, I went to the grocery store with my Family yesterday and I was sad walking down the isles. I was sad seeing all the foods I won't be able to enjoy anymore and foods I won't be able to have at all. My husband reminded me that this is for a good reason and I probably won't think about those foods much or any after my new lifestyle.

Yeah, that is difficult for me too. But then I remember that I'm in this position because of my unhealthy relationship with food, and I want change. We can do it -

week 1 has gone really well I do feel a bit of hunger here and there, but it's not too bad. And I'm already down 4-5kg (8-10lbs I think?)

I gotta try that

I loved premier before, but I can’t handle those anymore [emoji30] I need one that has no milk protein
Oh that's too bad I should look at some without milk Protein too, I'm a bit sensitive to lactose :/

Congratulations!!! Quick question. Is insurance requiring the 30 days liquid diet for you? Its usually 2 weeks here...30 days is long time
It's standard to do the pre-op liquid diet for 4 weeks in Sweden.
It's going to be tough but I'm so excited to finally have the surgery!

Oh wow Sweden that’s exciting!! Congrats on your date!! I can’t wait to know my exact date!!
Yes! (I'm Swedish [emoji6] ) I think the procedure is a bit different here, since we have very high taxes it's possible to get gastric surgeries payed for by the county. But I believe it takes a longer time to get a surgery date. I started with this journey last February, and I'm so happy to finally have a date [emoji1]

Had my sleeve on the 13th, and I really feel great. Was in pain for a few hours post surgery, but since then I've been feeling great, I can drink kinda fast and can already eat mushy foods
