@bogglesaucei wish I could my choice on what I can have for my diet, but my Dr office provide all my meals that I can have for two weeks and I only can have what they give me besides jello and popsicles.

This diet make you want to smoke. 🤔

@CamillaCalliethe diet suck point blank. I kind of like the chocolate shakes so that's what I drink all day. Maybe I will add a popsicle. I can't wait until this is over.

I am 5 days clean.

@Amers29yup me. Girl it's hard we just have to realize why we need to quit and let it sink in our brains. The surgery is absolutely more important. My surgery is on the 7th of November. I am still struggling.

@CamillaCallieyou will be fine. You will be in and out within a half hour. We almost there. The wait and all the hard work is about to pay off. You started your diet today how is that going so far.

Is their anyone else Dr. who uses the new direction liquid diet if so how are you handling it. Is there anything else I can do so I can get it down.

@CamillaCallie After we get our surgeries done maybe we can become work out buddies meet up some where. I workout a lot at the art museum when I can. the steps is my best friend.

@CamillaCallieI think your liquid diet will be fine. Mines is crazy because my Dr. office provide the meals I can have. They do not want me to have anything that they did not provide but the jello and popsicles.

@CamillaCallieI know one day at a time. I can have pops. and jello in between the shakes. Did you you get your meals from the Dr. Yet?

This is the hardest part of all this liquid diet. 🤦🏽‍♀️ How in hell I am I going to get this done. It's horrible I don't care what anybody say. I can only do 2 shakes I drink my water but it's like my body just reject the shakes after the second time. I don't see this getting any easier. I just have to keep up water and make sure I take my vitamins. Help please do not say don't think about it cause that's out. I know the surgery is the goal. It's plan and simple this diet is nasty.

@Maryvsg87 I think this diet would have been a little easier if I had a choice of what I can have. But I don't I only can have what the Dr. Gave me.

@CamillaCallie yes call them cause depending on what insurance you have it can take up to 30 days.

@CamillaCallie no I called them after calling my insurance company. It took them like 2 days to submit my paper. Got my approval in like 2 days.

@CamillaCallie good luck. I started my liquid diet today so far it's not to good I hate the soup. It's just my first day so I will try different kinds. If that don't work. Will be all shakes

@CamillaCallie just done all my pre op testing. It was really just blood work more ? From the Dr. EKG that's it. I have to start my clear liquid diet tomorrow because of the weight gain I have to do 3 weeks. But other then that it was fine.

Going for my pre op appointment tomorrow. And also to sit with the surgery team. Have any of you had your pre op testing done yet. I am so nervous because I haven't loss any weight as a matter of fact I thing I maybe the same weight as when I started. 🤷🏽‍♀️

@CamillaCallie where are you having your surgery done at?

After my last appointment which was on 9/25 my insurance was submitted that Thursday I had a answer that Monday. I think it depend on your insurance. Also call your insurance cause I knew before my Dr. Office found out.

I am also November 7th

November 7th I was going to have it done in October but my hubby couldn't take a couple days off so I move my date to November. I am counting down. What's your pre diet like and how long you have to do it for.

I also have this insurance and didn't have to do much. Just whatever the Dr needed. I was approved in 1 day. Took almost 3 months
