I'm feeling fine just a little tired and hoping to get in the wing of things soon. I've lost 17 pounds since my surgery on 4/26. All my incisions have healed and I've had my 1st follow-up with the surgeon. I attended my 1st support group last week. I'm able to drink the protein shakes and water with no problem. Tomorrow I transition to soft foods. I'm 1 month post-op today! I'm hoping that your fluid levels taper off. Sip slowly... I had to go an get a bag of fluids on night last week. That seemed to help me but I was having bp problems - too low. Feel better

Hi JoAnn. The liquid pain killer tasted so bad. I just decided to fight through the pain. Getting up and down helped ease the pain. I'm not big on drinking even cough medicine. These chewable Fusion vitamins are quick for the taste to go away and that's about all I can chew.

I drank one dose of the pain medicine. I decided to struggle through the pain. It's was rough just a couple nights at home. Slept more comfortable inclined at home. Pillows really helped. Walking is ok but just need more strength. Good Luck

I had gastric bypass on 4/26 also. I had pain for about a week getting in and out of bed. We are both 3 weeks out. Good luck!

I'm sipping. I think I was over drinking with the 11 ozs. I just drank a Enjury with 1 cup of no fat milk and this seems to agree with me better. Thanks

DeltaD i resumed taking my meds. I think I'm having depression too but each day is s little better. Hang in there!

Funds are ok. Protein is making me ill. Premier protein is the one making me sick. Even an oz. Any suggestions. L

Recovery time is slow. I was walking 4 miles a day before surgery on 4/26. I'm 3 weeks after surgery and I can barely walk for 5 minutes. Any suggestions

I had gastric on 4/26. After a couple of nights with pain getting out of pain the pain started easing up. 3 weeks out no pain. I started by moving from side to side in the bed end used a pillow at back for comfort. Hope you feel better. I had surgery

I'm struggling with protein drinks! Makes me so sick I have to lay down. Any suggestions. 3 weeks out from surgery.

I had surgery on 4/26/17. I'm having a problem on food choices. I'm keeping it very simple. Applesauce, I did mash up 1/2 sweet potato today. It was yummy.

Only my husband knows. I didn't want my kids to judge me. Surgery 4/26 and I'm doing fine so far.
