    June 21st

My surgery was 6/7/17. I'm getting my fluids in. Getting all my proteins in is sometimes interesting but otherwise it's going ok. I've lost about 48 lbs (38 since surgery). From a size 22 to a 14/16 HW: 265 SW: 250 CW: 212

I worried about that stuff too. I called my kids to tell them I loved them and reminded my wife about the life insurance policy...lol. Ur gonna take a nap and wakeup sore. U won't be hungry. Ur not gonna wake-up a size 3 so u will have a little time to get used to the new u, though I'm still shocked when I see myself in the mirror sometimes..lol. HW: 265 SW: 250 CW: 215

    Nurse After WSL?

I'm an RN and I had my surgery 6/7/17. I'm fine. You will do better with all the standing after the weight loss. HW: 265 SW: 250 CW: 215
  8. I'm about 7 weeks post op. I was kept for 2 days. I do agree that we tend to be discharged too early. As for the discomfort, I was taking Norco for about a week and a half. The first week was very uncomfortable. Did I say very? VERY... But it got better. By week 3-4 I had alot more energy and was walking in the park and by week 5, I started going to the gym. Vent..complain..self pity perhaps

I am 4 weeks post op and I think my biggest issue is not enjoying the prep that goes into cooking. So I'm often looking for pre-mede meals. I also need to do better at calorie counting. Tedious.... HW: 265 SW: 250 CW: 222

    Fatigue & Weakness ....

I was sleeved 6/7. I take a walk through a nature trail at a park near my house. I was huffing and puffing on the way back but it felt nice to finally have the energy to do it. Sent from my Moto G (4) using BariatricPal mobile app

    Post op day 3

My first 2 days were rough. I just slept and hurt. I didn't have the gas pains, I was very achy. I drank nothing the first day and very little the 1st post-op day. My surgeon kept me a second day because of the poor fluid intake. I'm drinking more today. Water, gaterade, and protein powder with water. And liquid Norco.... I'm going to assume I can consider that a fluid...he he. Sent from my Moto G (4) using BariatricPal mobile app

    A whole meal...

I got my sleeve June 7. Yesterday and today I am so missing being able to eat a whole meal. [emoji22] Prior to surgery, I considered how I might feel losing one of my dearest coping mechanisms, but I didn't imagine it would feel like this. [emoji20] Oh well...this too shall pass. Pre op diet issues

Well, I had hamburger patties, cheddar, shrimp, fish, spinich, and I bought protein drinks. But I don't think I'm getting enough protein..... I know I'm not getting enough protein. I'm just kind of unsure how to go about this whole thing. Sent from my Moto G (4) using BariatricPal mobile app
