March 2019 sleepers
Feelinghopefulnow replied to HunterJsMom's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Aw bless you. At least you’re home and hopefully you’ll improve daily now. Yes definitely keep on track of the meds - - don’t let them wear off. I’ve read a lot about people not being able to keep up with the water intake Someone said to add protein to your water and it’s easier to drink. Check with your team first though of course. New day tomorrow, hope you get to a really good place in your journey soon -

Feelinghopefulnow replied to CajunSam's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Ah three of us let’s do this together then💪🏻💪🏻 I was the same excited nervous but feeling a little daunted this evening as I was supposed to be having sleeve tomorrow but it’s third April now ,,, another two weeks of pre op. I’m on very low fat and hardly any carbs here too. Not ordered protein shakes/powder yet as yet as my daughter was going to go out and look about for me when she visits but I may order some now in advance. @maddiesmom @alchaley -

Good for you , its no one else's business I'm due to have sleeve on March 20 and its my secret . Everyone I know would think its he easy route they wouldn't understand how dedicated you have to be to succeed and use this tool properly anyway. I'm sure you look amazing and feel great too. I'm hoping not to have questions as I've lost a bit of weight during pre op and they all think im being strict with food so fingers crossed it stays that way

Hey! I’m still in the hospital, not much belly pain but SUPER tired. And of course the nurses come in constantly 🤣🤣 The biggest pain I have is the air/gas they use to blow up your cavity to make it easier to see everything during surgery. Some of that gets trapped and moves up to the chest/ shoulder area. I’ve been doing little tiny burps but honestly, I’m ready for a BIG GNARLY BELCH! 🤣 Too bed I can’t have a couple sips of Diet Coke, that would make me burp for sure! Happy to be on this side of the journey though! Good luck to everyone else! Hi @Neely oh bless you I’ve heard the gas pain can be bad for some. A few days have passed now I hope you are in a lot less pain. How are things with you ? Are you ok ? X -

@Foreversunshine I’m glad you’re doing well. Well done on the weight loss so far. Hopefully you will continue to improve daily. It’s great that you’ve not got stomach pain , I’m praying it goes as well for me. I’ve read lots of things here and the stall in losses , apparently its very common ,, keep going I’m sure things will kick in again and you’ll be slim and healthy before you know it.
