Some of us have had that problem I vomited the first 2 days every time I tried to drink. By day 3 I was just nauseous. It seems in the majority of people that day 4 is the turn around day. Hang in there.
Thank you. Every day has been an improvement since I have been home. I have not really had any pain, just sore at the incision sites. Had some pressure when I would drink my premier protein shakes, so I replaced them with some vegan powder mixed with almond milk and now it is better. Trying to get all of the liquid and protein is still a struggle.
I had my sleeve on Monday and then proceeded to vomit for 2 days, earning myself an extra night in the hospital. I was so afraid I would rip the staple line, but it seems to be ok. I really was not expecting to vomit so violently.
Today is my last liquid diet day and tomorrow is surgery. I am a bit nervous, but not rethinking my decision to do this. At this point I would just like some real food, never thought I would be excited about pureed food in 2 weeks!
