    Supplement patches

I almost bought them and then read reviews. I read an article that said most vitamins dont pass through the skin. I wish it did. Chewables with iron taste gross
  2. Congrats. You are an inspiration.

    Conversion- Worth it?

Please don't feel like a failure. My doctor said many have these problems. It is not your fault. We did our best and researched before the band, but time has passed and the side effects are beginning to show up now.

    Conversion- Worth it?

I had a prolapsed band and a total until 18 months before bypass conversion. In spite of no fluid, I kept getting worse. I couldn't eat for months and I had low energy and pain for a year. My revision was an emergency due to perforated stomach and more in there.
  5. Remember that your fluids are unbalanced and as you take in more nutrition and get exercise the fluids will go away. You have actually lost more than 1 pound. You are doing great. By six days after surgery I still weighed 10 pounds more than before and I wasn't eating. It took about 3 weeks for me to lose the fluid.
  6. Congratulations! You look beautiful.
  7. It was to drain fluids that accumulate around the site of surgery. The doctor said it took longer due to the extreme scarring around the Lapland. As you heal and have ER inflammation fluids are needing to be moved out.
  8. I finally got the drain out at 3.5 weeks. It wasn't because the fluid went down, but because I got a little infection around the tubing. Out came the drain and then on antibiotics.
  9. I had surgery 3 weeks ago and my drain is still very active. It puts out 150 ml per day. Doctor says it needs to be down to 30. I just wonder how long others had it. I need to go back to work because I'm out of paid days. Thanks for responding.
  10. When did you have surgery? Were you able to tolerate meat for a while after your surgery?
  11. I had band for six years. Had revision surgery April 21st 2017. I'm still on full clear liquids but I am thirsty. I have tried broth, Gatorade, jello and coffee. Does anybody have ideas? I am 67 yrs, 9 months
