Has anyone gained weight when they first started eating regular foods ? And if so I would like to hear what happened......HELP!!!! Is this normal ?

Has anyone else had pain on their right side of stomach near belly button ? I'm not hurting too bad sitting still but if I strain to get up or reach for something I get a sharp pain in that area. I'm 2 weeks post op this coming Tuesday.

Does anyone recommend a good post bariatric surgery cook books? I see recipes occasionally but would love to have an actual cook book [emoji41]

Has anyone had pain from drain tube site post sleeve ? My other incisions are not sore but the drain tube site burns if I try to stand up straight .....anyone having similar problems ? My sleeve was done on 4/25

Mine hurt and burned but was short lived. Lasted maybe 15 seconds but super intense to me. I feel great now that it's out

Going today to get my drain tube removed !!!!

I picked up Carnation protein shake at Walmart and was so focused on PROTEIN content that I didn't realize it had 12g of sugar in it [emoji15][emoji15][emoji15] I immediately quit drinking them but didn't notice it until today and I have had 3 of them between yesterday morning and this evening!!! I didn't feel sick or anything just scared I may have done something terrible I shouldn't have.....PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE ELSE HAS DONE THIS TOO!!! By the way my sleeve surgery was 4/25/17.

Thanks !!! I was so worried and have been super strict .....I can't believe I didn't see that when I bought them. Thank GOD I didn't go through DUMPING stage from it . My worst fear was it would mess my incision or healing up.

I do take med for pain twice a day

I'm always cold too !!!! I've never been that way in my life !!!! I keep my thermostat in house on 67 at all times now I catch myself putting on layers [emoji15]

I'm curious why some have drain tubes and some don't and the length they have it is different

Me too@judymo !!! Wednesday can't come fast enough for me !!! lol I had my surgery with Dr Wegner on 4/25/17 at Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis TN

So should I expect after drain tube is removed the pain should subside

Yes my back is killing me !! My drain tube comes out Wednesday and I'm hoping that takes the majority of my pain away
