I noticed i too am eating alot more, have had my 4th fill 3 weeks ago, 27 kilos lost since 18/09/07. have my next fill 2mnth and 1 week away. I think fills getting addictive.:ohmy: -

Do nicabate patches/lozenges affect lap banding? i know you cant take asprin. Any idea of what else you cannot take?:sneaky:

Can really see my port now, have lost 25 kilos, but always been slim around waist area where it was put. But can see mine when am standing up without clothes, when lye down and turn over boy oh boy does it stick up. hope nothin horrible happens like happened to your mum, breaking the skin.:sneaky:

I have had 4 fills since sep 2007 , last 1 3 weeks ago, lost 25 kilos so far. the next fill not for another 2months 1 week.:sneaky:

I tend to eat 1200 to 1500 calories a day, will cut bread down, and add more protein to fill me up

I have brekkie, then eat about 10.30/11 then at lunch just have a coffee. Is this ok, then dinner, and maybe snack at night time.:crying:

You done really well I have lost 25 since mid Sep 2007, I started just above 100kg.Thank goodness someone else had port like mine,was starting to get self conscious and he said would get more noticable.I am now in 70's and sticks out, but i have always been slimmer around the waist area. -

Eating later a good idea, but cant eat too late as other half already home when i get home, and he wants to eat not too late as he gets up early, bumber, but will try and make as late as possible.

Find i use to be a night time eater. Still want to have something later in the evening ,dont normally have a larger dinner, if have a larger dinner dont need the night time stuff. Any ideas?:wub:

protein drinks 6mnths down the line

Had my lap band approx 6 months ago. Was thinking of having protein drink 1 or 2 meals a day. I anyone doing this? If so does it help lose weight and give you energy, I am taking vitamin tablets, but some days feel so tired, have checked iron and b - all okay.:wub: -
Thankx for your advice, want to lose faster, so 60 to 90 it is.

I have had 4 fills so far , but can still eat 3 slices of german rye bread in one day -- is this normal, had op 6 mnths ago lost 25 kilos so far.Do i need more fill? doctor said to me last time do you want a fill or leave it, i said give me a bit of a fill, dont go back for another 3 mnths. Only had one stint of bringing up a bit of saliva, that was after ate a banana, havent really had much vomiting since having operation done initially.Am 73 kilos now.Any opinions.:crying:

Will stick to try one piece of bread a day, but healthy bread, and no butter on it. I just thought lap banders could not eat bread it got stuck, but i must admit i chew and chew and chew slowly. Even had a hot cross bun this morning, minus the butter for brekkie.:biggrin:

Will look at uping excercise from 30 to 40 minutes a day upwards. Am going to look into other excercises dancing, etc. too,:biggrin:

I have been banded, this morning hot cross bun, then 2 bannanas, then flat skinny white. may have egg or eggs boiled,then bannana or half sandwich, then flat skinny white.:biggrin:

One of the other lovely members told me she is on 800 - 1300 calories per day plus does 1 and half hour daily work out. I am 73 kilos lost 25 so far. How many calories are you others on too lose weight? want to know what i should be on my doctor says dont worry re calories, just stop eating when full, but i want to keep losing weight.:wub:
