But today i had one of those elephant chocolates after my lunch, and 6 of the little honey comb type sweets with chocolates around them, but uped my exercise walked 45min instead of 30, and healthy eating again tonight, just got to make certain dont get into the junky snacks habit again, but that is up to me got to think hey this is not good for me, think the weight i will put on if i do this everyday instead of once and a while. -
Thank you, good to know i am on the right track, and thus not setting up for a let down.

Virtually never snacked in the first few months, but after reading your posts and as my doctor says, drink water, maybe you not really hungry you firstly got to start doing that again. All the best everyone, keep on track. -

Is LB covered on Australian Medicare?
slimmy120 replied to RantingDev's topic in Insurance & Financing
I am in Perth wa,and we definately had to go and pay ourselves, one of my friends who lost 75kilos was told that there is no way we would get done privately, and that when we lose weight it is the sam(tummy tuck, arms etc.) do you have any ideas as how and who they saw in wa, as we all interested, my mum wants to get done, and no way she could afford either, we all spoke to differing gp's too.Thanx -
Well I think mine must stick up as when I lye down it protrudes high, will roll and show dr when I go again end of May, have no pain, but concerned.

Gave in and had half then another half of a melting moment biscut tasted so good -- but kept thinking that is after i ate it , didnt need that nothing tastes as good as slim feels, oh shivers, just pick myself up again and will get back to healthy eating, having corn silverside and veges - cooking at moment for dinner.

Is LB covered on Australian Medicare?
slimmy120 replied to RantingDev's topic in Insurance & Financing
Was 15 thousand all up, but after what medicare paid for anethisist, and my health fun paid for hospital stuff was $9thousand, then each fill is $265.But i think was well worth it, had to make a choice new car or new me, guess which one i chose.I spoke to my doctor and she said had to be morbidly morbidly obese as in around the 300kilo or so before govt would look at it, and then about 5 year waiting list if you lucky. -
:tt1:I had very few problems with vomitting, i eat slowly and chew , chew , chew. I have read a few notes on these boards , i was told to eat slowly and chew every 25 times. What was everyone else told, Hope this post helps the people who are new, and who are going to get the lap band.

I had my band placed on 18th sep 2007 , starting weight 102kg have lost 28 kilos now, but the last 3 months lost 9, so i think equates to how you losing, at first didnt lose much compared to everyone then vola did, then slow again, dont know why, sometimes if i did not eat much would not lose as much .Keep at it as i am to, yep depressed not losing that fast now, even put on a little some weeks, but in the end we will get there!I am 5 ft 4 by the way.and female.

Should I expect this???????
slimmy120 replied to Kate228's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
No I can eat bread, everything, I had my fourth fill 7 weeks ago, and only sick 2 times, and not very bad - once i ate a banana without chewing and too quick, the next time at sandwich too quick and did not chew enough. I have been banded since 18 sep 2007 and lost 28 kilos so far.
