Looking for information from anyone whom had a band revision to sleeve or bypass.  Which is preferred if I have the option?  Surgeon's office recommends bypass for my BMI (55) and tendency for reflux.  

I was banded 10yrs ago, had an initial weight loss of 70lbs, loved it...until lost insurance coverage and was unable to afford $250-500 per fill to find the sweet spot again.  Have had vomiting directly after eating practically anything solid, no matter how small an amount or how well chewed.
