I was on liquids the first 2 weeks afterwards, then soft mushy foods next 2-3 weeks and now I eat mini meals that don’t fill up a saucer dish... I dumped once when I didn’t use small plate... I get my fluids in plus proteins then vegetables... I eat slowly chewing real small before I swallow

I'm located in Coudersport, PA. I'm doing good down to 215 from 289. I didn't have outside sutures but the incision that opened was a crazy one with no pressure on it but my body does it's own thing...lol

I had my surgery 25 May and I'm down over 60lbs. I had one of my incisions pop open and had to be reclosed 7 July... I think I'm doing good. I went from 26-16 size wise. Good luck with your appointment, you have a great Dr

Trouble with all meat since January 9 2017
memabock replied to Sophiedofie's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I only have a problem with meat if it's dry or tough... I discovered an instant pot and now all meat is fine if I remember to chew real fine and portion control. -

I have one like this on my left side. Dr told me to keep covered with silver gel and a bandaid. Change morning and night. He'll see it in 2 weeks. I'm 4 weeks post op. As long as no fever, I'm good. It has to heal inside out, takes longer
