    I’m hanging in there. A little emotional yesterday and today but I’m still full speed ahead. Waiting on the phone all tomorrow. It’s so frustrating that we have to wait until a day before. I am trying to make arrangements for my 7 year old and I can’t until I know what time I have to be a the hospital.

    I’ve been super excited as well. But yesterday and today I cried. Any little thing would set me off. I want this over with already.

    How's everyone doing? 4 more days!!! I can't believe this time next week we'll be home recuperating. Best of Luck to everyone and lets keep each other posted after surgery.

    I'm down 10 lbs. You? What's the mouthwash for? I don't have to do any of that. So weird, so many different ways all these dr.'s are telling us to do. Some people don't have to do a preop diet at all, just the night before, while others are on only liquid diet for 2 weeks. I don't get it.

    I'm not gonna lie, it's hard, especially when I get home from work. Even now 11 days on this diet and my stomach is growling. How are you doing?

    ONE MORE WEEK!!!!! How's everyone doing on their pre-op diet? I lost 10 lbs as of this morning. Had a minor cheat on Sunday, but am back and stronger than before.

    Day 8 of preop diet and I'm down 10.2 lbs....1 week to go. Pre-surgical testing tomorrow morning. Good luck to all on pre op and congrats to all post op. Can't wait to join you on the losers bench next week around this time

    I'm also a single mom TrustSerenity. And yes, it is very hard to cook and feed my kids. I've been doing real good since Monday, but yesterday I caved and had a chicken nugget off my son's plate. I've lost 9 lbs since Monday so, it can't be that bad.

    Thanks and don't worry you got this. Oh and if you feel the hunger coming on at night, go to sleep early, that's what I did Monday and Tuesday. Tomorrow is a step closer to surgery. Good Luck!

    oh ok lol. Cause when Carline called me she said she just gave the 10th to someone else had she known I wanted to go sooner. I feel the same way. One day I'm excited and the next I'm nervous. But we've come this far and we're in the home stretch. did you have your pre-surgery testing yet? I have mine on the 11th. You'll be upstairs recuperating. Let's keep in touch.

    I bring 3 shakes to work with me. Have 1 in the morning then another around noon. I made my own chicken broth, so I have that around 1pm and my 3rd shake around 3. In between I drink a lot of water (around 72 oz. ) and eat a sf jell-o or unsweetened applesauce. When I get home from work I have another shake around 5:30-6, more water and another jell-o or a sf popsicle. Started preop diet on Monday and this morning was down 7 lbs

    OMG I just realized we have the same surgeon. I'm having VSG on the 17th. How's your pre-op diet going? Were you the one they offered the date of the 10th from Merola's office because someone else cancelled?

    Started my pre-op diet on Monday. Lost 7.5 lbs already in 3 days. wooohooo can't wait for surgery day! VSG in T minus 12 days (October 17th). Anyone from NY here?
