👋 Hi! My revision from sleeve to bypass is also May 23rd. I guess we are May triplets. Lol I am nervous, relieved, excited, and scared. I’m praying that we all have a wonderful easy surgery. Can’t wait to see how we turn out. Keep me informed.

I’m having revision surgery from sleeve to bypass also. I do have acid reflux. The sleeve did great for me until I became stressed and started eating the wrong things and gained back the 100 pounds I had lost. Very disappointed in myself but I’m determined this time. This is major surgery that I said I wouldn’t have but here I am. I know my triggers now. I also know what to avoid and how to deal better with the stress eating.

Can't decide sleeve or bypass

Weigh your options with your surgeon. I personally got the sleeve because I didn’t like the idea of my intestines messed with. I like the sleeve but it made my acid reflux worse! Now my surgeon wants to do the bypass to get rid of all that. I also think the restriction of the bypass is better than the sleeve. One year out from the sleeve and I have to face that fear now. -

I was sleeved on April 24th. I too am having the gas and bloating. My incisions itch also. Is everyone still on clear liquids? -

Had surgery at 10am this morning. Feeling surprisingly great. I feel like I had nothing done. No gas until I started walking. What's up with that? Well we did it. I'm really looking forward to this new start in my life. Let's do it April sleevers!

I'm still up. My surgery is in the morning. Nervous doesn't explain how I feel. I'm excited, scared to death, nervous, and happy all at the same time.

Congratulations! I got my call from the hospital too. I need to be there at 8am Monday morning and surgery will be at 10am. Looking forward to this and getting off this liquid diet! Lol

Hi I am quite nervous. I will be sleeved on April 24th. That's 5 days away. I am starting to get the shakes and my anxiety is really kicking in. I want to do this but the fear of the unknown is taking over my body.
