  1. I had RNY over a year ago and my sister had the sleeve two years ago we both have tummy sounds but nothing that other people notice and flatus is not in controllable at all. Any GI issues I have or had out weigh the fact that I’m skinny now. HW: 350 SW: 325 CW: 161 Goal: 150-160

Hello, I’m 38 and had RNY April 2017 I’m down 150lbs or so. I eat right, I have a bad day here and there. I work out 5 days a week. It’s different and hard not to think of my self as the fat girl any more. And society is even worse, people are nicer to me talk to me out of the blue. As if I was to gross before. I’m still me the same personality. I’m glad I had this surgery besides the 3 endoscopy and balloon dilations I had. I’m so much healthier and can keep up with my 4 year old so much better. Obesity is in my family and my sister and mom are bigger. And I find that they volunteer me to do a lot more because “ I’m the skinny one”. As if I’m not busy enough being a single mom. But I remember how much it hurt to have that much weight on me. That’s a bit about me. HW:350 SW:325 CW:161 Goal: 150-160

  7. I feel that way all the time. It’s hard seeing your self smaller but you still don’t feel small! I shy away from my friends and family, they always want to go out to eat. It’s been 14 months since my surgery. I eat the same things every day. I’m still worried I will gain it all back.

I poured blk coffee in the one ounce cups they give you at the hospital and sipped on it just to have the taste in the beginning. If I remember right it’s a clear liquid but ask your doctor.

    Current 2018

I don’t believe it’s me sometimes. My brain still feels like a fat girl. I have this new body. It’s a bigger adjustment than I thought it would be.

I drink coffee, I use sugar free creamer. I’ve always been a coffee drinker and my doctor said it was ok. Right after surgery it was like I didn’t was it but around the 2 or 3 month mark I was back to my old coffee habit. With out sugar.
  15. I think they are mostly positive changes, but just find people to talk to, I struggle a little as I become more slim, I was so heavy my whole life it’s hard to see the person in the mirror. I’m only 9 months post op.
