Evans Wifey replied to Mytimenow17's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I sleep on my side. I was told sleeping on my left side helps everything digests easier. -

Evans Wifey replied to Véronique's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
Me and my husband drink Allmax Isoflex whey isolate protein powder . Sooo good! We drink the banana cream supreme. Taste like a wonderful shake. I get on Amazon. They have 3 other flavors. -
I could use help with My Head
Evans Wifey replied to Half-Tum's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I do the cooking at home. Ive found the Ketogenics diet to be the best for both of us. We can still eat like we did before just in a healthier way. Oh and I'll just fill up alot faster, lol. -
I meet my husband just as I was starting my 6 month weight loss classes. I was 264 when we got married. He liked the plus size curves. But now every time i put on a new dress or take something off he just says "Wow, your getting thin, I like it babe." Im now, 4 months later, 210 lbs. He always tells me that he still loves my curves, but now my curves are tighter. If he tells you he is okay with your body belive him. He has no reason to lie.

You look like a different person! Congratulations

Great Job! Don't do to much because your healing, but my surgion told me to walk Every day. Now 2 week out i only walked for about 5 to 10 min, but getting that body moving is helpful especially when it comes to getting rid of gas.

I just need some support
Evans Wifey replied to Beautiful Diamonds's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Liquid is the best thing for you now. Just as important as it is to give your young ones the type of nutrition they need the same applies to you and for you your nutrition comes in a liquid form. You and your body will get use to it in no time. Tell that brain to shut up! -
I think I might have over prepared :/
Evans Wifey replied to knowledge_governs's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It's great that your excited. You never know who you maybe able to give your extra or unused supplies to. Some people bring there extra to there support group for other people. Some also share them with in there facebook group. Either way none of it will be wasted. -
You look great! Keep up the good work.

No worries. You can always buy what you lose, lol. The most important part is that your at a healthy weight. Instead of wide curves you just have curves. I'm on month 5 out of my weight loss surgery and I've gone from a DD to a D. Im gone from a 22 to size 16. My booty is still banging and my husband can't keep his hands off of me. He supports me and loves my heart. So if my booty goes flat we will just max out a credit card and fill it up. At least I'll be healthy enough to spend my forever with the love of my life.

Carbonated (Sparkling) Water, yes or no?
Evans Wifey replied to biancan2ckyw's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My surgeon said that I could have flat drinks. So I make my sparkling water flat before I drink it. Just burp the bottle until all the bubbles are gone. -
I HAVE GIVEN UP ON DRINKING WATER!!
Evans Wifey replied to dreamingsmall's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I love the New Hint water too. I think watermelon is the best ice cold. Coconut water has helped me alot also. Keeps me hydrated and taste good. -
I meet my guy over Plenty of Fish 2 months after I started my bariatric classes. I told him after we had been seeing each other over a month that I was going to have weight loss surgury. He has been so supportive. We got married 12/16. I had my surgury 3/17 and since I have lost over 40lbs. I was afraid that since I'm no longer as big as I was he wouldn't be as attracted. But thank God that he has become even more attracted to me. I was lucky enough to find a man that fell in love with my heart not just my body. Don't let this bad experience stop you. The right one is out there. Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

How did you ask for time off work?
Evans Wifey replied to bbk95's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I requested two weeks off using my PTO, and the 3rd week I used my state disability. I originally asked for 4 weeks but I returned a week early. I was going crazy at home, lol Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app -

Evans Wifey replied to achievinggoals17's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You must stay on them. My doctors office gave me the blues. I called back and forth from the surgeons office to my doctors office at least twice a week until it was finally done. Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app -

What Was Your Final "straw That Broke The Camels Back"
Evans Wifey replied to bigjoe102's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
The pain! I have always embraced my curve's, but when my curve's started to get wider and knees started to make noise's I knew that it was time to do something diffent. I made a dr. Appt but didn't see my primary. It was actually the float Dr. that complained to about my back pain. My primary was totally against surgery. So I thought I would ask for diet pills. Unfortunately I am allergic to caffeine so he suggested that I enroll in the bariatric weight loss program and find out why to improve my eating and maybe get surgery. The best advice that I got from that Dr.
