itstime4me123 replied to sleevedformyhealth's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My nutritionist said the fluids are the biggest challenge the first few weeks. She recommended a sugar free drink with electrolytes. Grape Powerade has been my go to. Very cold over crushed ice. -
You look fantastic!

Am I full or is that gas?
itstime4me123 replied to carlita42's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
That's a good way to put it. I agree. I was sleeved three days ago and experiencing the same thing. It takes forever to eat or drink everything. I feel like all I do is sip and nibble my three little portions each day and that's all I have time for. Lol -
Did you have WLS? The audacity of some.
itstime4me123 replied to Deactivatedfatgal's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Interesting. I was just sleeved three days ago and contemplating as well. I feel it should be private if you choose so. But people are so brassy they just won't give up sometimes. -

This makes me smile. I can't wait to me there. You've earned it. Enjoy. -
I had my sleeve Friday. It went very well. I was not prepared for the gas and nauseous, which was far worse that any if the surgery pain. Came home after two nights. Learning that I can't really lay down or it will make me feel nauseous. Other than that I feel great! Already down 11 pounds. Feeling optimistic and hope this positive momentum stays put.

How soon after surgery have you started to drink coffee?

I'm interested in premier for creamer. Is there a flavor you use? Do you add the powered or a premixed shake? -
It's. About. To go. DOWN!
itstime4me123 replied to Diana Prince's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I understand. When you make up your mind to do it you want to Go! But it will get here. I started my process in 9/16 and my surgery is just three weeks away. -
I would love to hear how it goes. Mine is three days later on the 5th
-
It's odd the only pre op diet I have is for the one day prior to surgery. Does anyone else have this?
