10 weeks in an nausea all the time? Help

Are you taking a prescribed antacids? Part of my treatment was Pepcid daily. I didn't do well at all on Pepcid so I went back to my Omeprazole OTC with great results nausea went away. I now get a script for it so I don't pay any out of pocket.

    Cravings and Snacking

Thank you. I will try that. Usually after 2.5, 3oz of protein I'm full
  4. How do you deal with snacking. GB in Feb 2017 dealing with food aversion sometimes halfway through meal so not getting all protein then I'm hungry later and have started snacking on the forbidden. Help!
  5. Good job. What an accomplishment.
  6. GBS 2-6 and I'm down 43 I feel behind. Nothing to compare it with just feel I should be further ahead. My appetite isn't the best, unable to consume the 16oz per day water I get to full and unable to eat my meal and secondly I am unable to consume more than 2.5-3oz protein. Can that be the issue?
  7. I have told my husband, 2 close friends, pastor and an acquaintance who reminded why it's important to keep it too yourself. The first words out of her mouth were "when did this happen ? The next words were shocking"you know it's not permanent". I stumbled over my words while trying to think how surgery could not be permanent. She went on to explain how there was a woman attending her gym who was exercising to get rid of some weight she had gained after having had WLS. I picked my lip up off the floor and gave her an ear full . "Surgery is not a solve all and anyone who thinks that it is-is mistaken. You still have to do the work and for me surgery was a tool to get me to my goal". She didn't say another word. I can't be sure others haven't told anyone else. I had surgery 2-6-17 and at this stage I have too much to deal with than being open to comment that involves pride and ignorance. So not saying anything else at this time.

    Pain

I had a bypass 2-6 and my post op plan include Pepcid 2xday. I had taken once before and did not get indigestion relief with it like the OTC Prevacid but I wanted to follow Dr recommendations. Wasn't long I started having abdominal pain and frequent nausea. I went back to the OTC omeprazole and no issues since. My surgeon agree to continue the OTC and stop the Pepcid. So if ur symptoms continue try changing but speak to Dr. First.

I had a bypass 2-6. 2 wks prior to surgery I was on a high protein diet only protein shake 2xday and 4 oz protein and veges for my meal wasn't excited about that a good start loss 10lbs prior to surgery. Liquid only day of and 2 days post op purée for 4 weeks. Then soft for weeks. A day o did not adhere and had a bite or 2 of a shrimp and I paid for it. I am sure I plugged my pouch I had severe abdominal pain for 12hr and threw up at least twice. Follow the plan. At about week 3-4 I plateau but it turned around I am down 39lbs. I feel I'm behind but not gaining
