Ugh yesterday (day 2) was worse than today. I have to have 5 shakes a day (already sick of them) ... then I get one serving of starch, fruit and veggie a day. I wish I could have some meat! Switching things around here and there to see what works best. It all sucks but it'll all be worth it in the end....or at least what I'm telling myself to get through thelse 2 damn weeks! Good luck to everyone! -
They require it more to shrink your liver so it's easier to do the surgery. I've already gone this far (alittle over a year)...I won't do anyone to risk messing this up. No matter how nervous I may be haha.

I have to do 5 ensure high protein shakes a day...with one starch, one vegetable and one fruit serving a day. 2 weeks

How strict is your diet? I get one vegetable, one starch and one fruit a day. I know it's worse or better for some. Good luck with the next couple of weeks!

BuffaloBill....I wanna say the insurance approval took about 4 1/2 weeks. They did initially tell me it takes about 3-4 weeks for the approval anyways.
