So after giving ti a few days i find i am still unable to achieve any activity whatsoever... At this point it has been seven days and the Anesthesia should be out of my system by now and i fail to see how it can't be! I have never been on blood pressure meds, my heart is as strong as an Ox, all my organs are in pristine condition considering my old horrendous diet. I have been following the pureed foods diet extremely carefully with no deviations. I take in at least a 1/2 gallon of water a day I can still feel sensation through my genitals and the color is like usual so it's probably not a blood clot, i am taking protonix ( pantoprazole) (Which has reported some cases of Impotence at 40 mg) and Lamictal for bipolar disorder 2 currently and nothing else besides my Celebrate Vitamins twice a day. At this point i am going to be speaking to my doctor on Thursday at clinic hours about this problem as that is when he will be available. If the surgery is responsible then this has been the biggest mistake of my life and i can't see how i can live with this! I mean i was hoping to lose my virginity after i get the weight off but if i can't even get ready for it how can i!

The truth is i would be royally ticked off if after all of this i find out my sex drive was destroyed as a consequence, 25% of the reasoning behind me losing the weight is for relationships and sex.

I have some news regarding my "Issue", it turns out after stopping my dilauded i finally had a positive experience this morning. So i did some research and found ti has a 12% chance of causing temporary Erectile Dysfunction.

And not to get too descriptive but i have found that my "equipment" does not respond to "manual input", otherwise no other issues reported.

So i am five days out, experienced the dumping syndrome from banana protein smoothie so i know not to do that again. I am taking all of my vitamins properly and all associated medications. Protonix, Liquid Children's Tylenol and Dilaudid. I am quitting my pain pills as of writing this due to strange vivid nearly prophetic dreams involving Mars One mission in 2033 involving an alien bioweapon in the soil killing off the colonists. I don't really need sex right now and women don't really seem to notice me due to my off putting size and lack of fashion choices, but I'm used to being ready to go in the morning so to speak. I also have the entire left upper butt cheek numb and partial upper right, the hospital bed was hard as a rock. I also wake up in my bed on my back with severe butt pain and my hip aches. Should i call the nurse to inquire into why this is happening? I had the Gastric bypass on 9/12/2017 at 7:30 AM, in terms of exercise i have found i am extremely active but careful.

Any future posts will be in a new forum post, i wont be needing to keep posting here as i am obviously post-op now and therefore this topic no longer applies to me! But i will keep everyone updated!

Pureed foods are not that bad really, i am having tomato bisque tonight with a little sugar free chocolate pudding and some pureed beans all in a shot glass. As for the surgery itself, they took a ton of precautions before, during and after to ensure i got an excellent outcome

I survived... In a good amount of pain and just started pureed foods. Not a single throw up, haven't passed gas yet nor had a bowel movement but i did take Magnesium citrate on Sunday morning to clear my bowels out so it might be a while. Just thought i would give everyone a heads up and show my gratitude for the support i have received.

I found out that a guy who runs the YouTube channel Boogie2988 that i watch nearly every week just got done with the surgery and he weighed 580+ pounds before with High blood pressure, lymphodema, numerous mental health issues such as ptsd and bipolar and he survived so far to see the new IT movie. I also saw that movie as a treat before i do this! I just got done confirming with the phone nurse my medical history and i realized something... Not just including boogie but also taking into account my uncle who was exposed to agent orange and told numerous times he was going to die but yet he still keeps trucking along, went through a kidney removal, heart surgeries, countless medical issues and he is still alive. All i have is Diabetes type 2 that has an A1C of 5.2 down from nearly 12 in less than a month after meds and diet, Occasional blood pressure spikes from my Bipolar/Anxiety disorders rearing their heads and moderate psoriasis on my scalp.

I've been morbidly obese for 20 years now, the only time i was ever skinny was when i was on Ritalin at age 8 and i was dangerously thin. I know i don't have any other choices and my options are non existent at this point. I figure this is my only option before my over eating finally kills me... I know the likelihood of dying on the table is astronomically slim and i have a higher chance of dying in a car accident... I just don't feel like walking away is in the cards!

My anxiety has only increased since last night and i feel like either way this is a death sentence... I feel absolutely terrible and i feel like this is my last day on earth!

Well i already know I'm strong when i can gallop up a flight of stares with a couch on top of my shoulders with the cushions still attached. But i see what you are saying and i just need a swift kick in the butt (From myself) to keep my nerve in check.

I know... i'm not going to back out now. I've never been skinny before so this should be interesting... clothes won't cost me $80 a piece anymore!

Thank you... I'd have a last minute beer but i don't want to thin my blood with alcohol!
