Pre op liquid diet weight loss
Ylm87 replied to LiLiTsc's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes, I have three protein shakes, a mod snack which can be a yogurt and a low carb/low sugar dinner. On Friday, while I was on my way to school I vomited five times all the protein and fluids I have taken that day and was sent to the er. There they told me I had to eat something while taking the antibiotics because the shake wasn't enough. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app -
Pre op liquid diet weight loss

I'm having a hard time with my pre op diet because I'm on antibiotics and since I'm not eating I'm vomiting almost everyday. I don't want to give up noe, but at times I feel like I can't do this. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app -
Today was my 1st day of the two week pre-op diet and I have to say it wasn't that bad. I totally looked forward to dinner time though lol. I did get a bit of a headache but I'm guessing it's because it's something my body is not used to. Let's see how tomorrow goes since I'll be in class and outside. Anyone has any recommendations on how to keep the protein shake cool or preparation while I'm out of the house? Wishing everyone good luck on this journey. Hi, I'm May 8th. I'm so excited and nervous. I start my pre op diet tomorrow. I've tried the Tripact vanilla latte shake with almond milk and I loved it. I hope I still like it after surgery. I think my biggest challenge will be not being able to pick up my toddler son. For the most part he's very independent but he's a momma's boy so we always have our cuddly moments where I treat him like a big baby lol. As far as food, I think I'll be good. Although my bf loves to eat, I've convinced him I'll be a cheaper date [emoji6] so that's always a plus lol. Good luck to everyone Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

Hi, my name is Yelissa and I'm 29yrs old. I finished my 6 month classes and all my testings. Now waiting for that call so I can sign the consent for a surgery date. I'm so excited and nervous. I have gone back and forth onhaving surgery but I finally decided that this is the best thing for me. I had an accident a couple of years ago in which I broke my knee and fractured my spine. I've had two knee surgeries, have disc bulging, arthritis and joint dysfunction on my spine. At this point I've been told I either lose the weight or get spine surgery. So of course I've chosen to lose the weight because I know that since I've gained weight, I've been feeling more pain. I now have a 2 yr old son so I'm worried about how I'm going to handle recovery and handling a toddler. Has anyone gone thru the same? I'm excited to feel healthy again and of course look like a hot mama. But I am a bit nervous cause it's another surgery. Any recommendations? I hope to make new friends here and wish everyone the best of luck.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. I signed up to the gym and today is my first day. They have a gym and I've been told I can low impact exercises such as the Treadmill. I will definitely be taking pictures, I can't wait to see the transformation. I was doing so good for the last couple of months without having soda and then last week I starting having the craving and had the some. Shortly after I felt sick. So since I've been avoiding sweets for the past 6 months, anytime I eat anything sweet now, it sends me to the bathroom. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

Hi I'm a newbie as well, I'm waiting for my call to schedule the surgery. My nutritionist recommended BPI or Isopure which can be found at GNC. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

That's great! They told me I should get a call by mid next week for the appointment to sign the consent. In hoping I get this surgery by beginning of May because I have my graduation in June. I'm definitely going to miss picking up my son. It's going to be hard but I know this well be worth it. Best of luck to you. So exciting
