    No judgement please

I'm only 4 months but this last month I have been having a lot of wine and exercising a lot but my weight loss went to a stand still. I think the wine has a lot to do with it- sucks You lost almost a 100 pounds that's amazing! Don't put too much pressure or then you'll stress and create more cortisol which holds the fat. Be proud of how far you come and appreciate your journey you are doing it!
  5. So it'll be three months in a week for me lost 40 pounds so far... didn't get my period this month and have no reason not to get it. Is this normal? Of course going to mention to my doctor but wanted to see if anyone else experienced this.

    Food options

Yes yes and yes that's why I did respond I will talk to my doctor because there's a lot more details of what I have tried that I didn't jot down I just simply was looking for ideas - thanks for taking time out of your day to let me know I was being snarky

    Food options

Yeah I'm aware everyone of protein- thanks. As unmentioned I don't eat a lot of meat so was looking for options and ideas. Thank you for your opinions I was looking for more support as this is hard and maybe it's easier for you meat eaters and hearing what I shouldn't do isn't helping right now. It's very frustrated the limitation of what I can eat and trying to switch it up. Again- thanks for those supportive opinions. I'll wait to speak to my doctor.
  8. So my nutritionist gave me a list of foods and one is I can have bread as long as it's toasted- crackers etc. I'm not a huge meat eater so as of now a big chunk of what I've been having is dairy stuff. Im only a month out and haven't lost that much and reading all your posts and how quickly everyone is losing and getting really discouraged. I know, I know everyone loses different but when we don't have many food options and I'm eating tiny meals why am not losing more? I hope one day I will be one of the inspirational stories I have read on here.

    Bread

Me too. 4 weeks out and my nutritionist said toasted bread or crackers. I've had bread w eggs, pita toasted for chips, and crackers as well w peanut butter.
  10. After surgery I had to sit upright and sleep upright for the first two weeks. It sounds like either drinking too much too fast or gas. I would try taking smaller sips- literally use those medicine cups and sip them.

    Food ideas

    Family Pizza Night

So wrong. My family same thing but I guess it's reality people won't change but we have to. Each day you resist you become stronger

    Woo! 299!!

    That's awesome!
  14. So I attempted to go out w friend yesterday and the few places we went I didn't see any options. I'm 3 weeks out and still have to eat mushy- but sick of yogurt and not huge on meat. So I got all snappy and ready to cry because for the first time since surgery realized the struggle this is going to be... any food ideas or websites?

    Four Days Post-Op - HELP!!

I had to sleep upright in a recliner first two weeks because of acid reflux and gas... it's common to have a lot of gas. Are you walking s little to see if it is?
