Missy, I was banded the same day -5/19. How are you doing? I'm totally up and running - well not running. But I'm back to work and feel great! I have a lot of energy which i was surprised about. So far I have lost 14 pounds. My surgeon didn't require a pre-op diet so this is all post op weight loss. Anyway, I'd love to hear how you are doing... -
This is my 2nd day post op and I'm feeling pretty good! I have some gas and of course I got my period today so I don't think that's helping with the bloated feeling! I've been up and walking around and trying to get in my Clear liquids although I'm really not that hungry right now. Clear broth is making me feel a bit sick...but i've been doing ok with Jello, tea (decaff), sf popsycles, and juices... Anybody esle just get banded?

Hello Brooklyners! I just got banded 2 days ago! I feel fine - a little gassy and sore but nothing crazy. I was banded by Dr. Roslin at Lennox Hill and he was great! I would love to join any Brooklyn meeting. I'm getting banded on 5/19 and would love to be able to have a support group that can relate. Should we discuss a meeting place? I live in Clinton Hill/Fort Greene area.
