I am a self pay patient in new jersey, My insurance company does not cover weight me. I totally have a $13000 cash deposit I saved for this surgery. I found a new jersey surgeon has a $12000 sleeve package, but he does not offer any complications insurance for me to buy. I found a florida surgery he has a $13000 packet including blis complication cost coverage. But i need to pay hotel and flights for me and my companion. But if i really have leaking, infection, etc. How i could immediately fly to Florida for the revision? May I know how are your self pay guys prepare for the complications cost?

Thanks. But when i asked the doctor, he didn't mention this reimburse type insurance for complications. All doctors have this reimburse complications insurance or only some?
