Do you still feel the restriction in your stomach? My biggest concern is stretching.

Also, are most people on here sleevers? It seems like there's a ton of sleeve threads, and not as many RNY threads.

I don't eat peeps - not my bag. However, blowing them up in the microwave is great fun! 30 second cycle; they get huge then quickly deflate. Fun for the whole family.

Good for you! I've considered surgery on and off for years, and I think I resisted in the past because I wasn't ready for the lifetime changes. My journey here was rather quick. My grandma passed away this summer and she struggled with her weight all her life. She actually reached goal right before she died of a stroke. Recently, my grandpa had a dream where she told him to give me the money for surgery, and he extended the generous offer. I feel like my weight loss will be in honor of her memory.

I suppose 5 lbs a week through the end of the year for me is a stretch goal, but I hope to be 210 by my birthday on December 19th. I'm tall at 5'9".

Is two years your timeline to reach goal? I'm hoping to get into onderland by the end of the year (I'm 320 now).
