Today was my first day lifting weights.Did chest and tris at about 2/3 my old weight.Keep in mind I wasn't power lifting doing lighter weight with higher reps.It felt amazing.Ive been at the gym since dayb1 but only on a treadmill. My diet it mostly high protein with minimal carbs (oatmeal, fruit) I be ad a couple small bites of bread, pasta but I am still consuming yogurt and protein shakes.Peanut butter has been a huge help and I started eating turkey lunch meat with a small piece of string cheese. This new journey is amazing it feels great never being stuffed.I sleep all night,I used to wake up to Pee at least 4 times a night and i also don't snore anymore. My energy is way way up.Ibaas having leg numbness issues but that is slowly improving. As of today my only issue is slight constipation from high protein diet but Metamucil nightly with another stool softener is helping a lot.I hope you all are doing well on your journeys. My results/reaction or whatever you want to call it are working for me.Find your groove and be patient.

Please read my 3 weeks post op post.At the end of the day you know yourself.Follow that clear liquid diet religiously the first week after and then follow the liquid diet(shakes, drinkable yogurt) the second week and your scot free....make adjustments according to how you feel. But then I went to Mexico to Dr Fernando Garcia at Tijuana Bariatrics and he's the best!

I'm 3 weeks post op down 40 lbs and rolling.Ibwent to Dr Fernando Garcia.Him,his Drs,his staff were all amazing.Anwered every question beforehand and after surgery as well. When I was there every person I saw that used another Dr was having issues holding fluids or throwing up.Allnhis patients were up and about walking smoothly.I highly Recommend Tijuana Bariatrics and Dr Garcia.Inalready have multiple friends starting the process with him. -

When is peanut Butter allowed or Almond butter?Trying to think of extra ways to get protein in

Tried a Protein Shake today two days ahead of schedule. My nurse said depending on how we felt to give it a shot and I drank the whole think and felt great after.I went to the gym and stretched and walked for 10 min on the treadmill then went grocery shopping with the wife.Inhave a gnawing hungry feeling like I'm ready to try some creamy Soup or yogurt but I don't want to push it.I got a little tired after about 3/4 of the shopping so I'm sitting down writing you guys.Ive spoken to a bunch of my boys that had this procedure and asked them if they are eating what they want and after 3-4 months you're on your own kinda just figuring your own limits. For me patience is the key cause I'm ready to test the waters but everyone tells me.....be careful...It hurts.Hope you guys are all well.

I feel great.Down about 20 lbs, my legs are still tingly I get that burning sensation when I lay flat.Im having no issues drinking protein or keeping creamy soup down.My only problem is I get hungry and want to test the waters.Hope all is well.
