  1. Almost 48 years old and my period came back after wls with a vengeance. Stomach cramps and other stuff like crazy. Before wls it would show up sporadically but not now. This is the second time i had it since the surgery and on schedule of 30 days. This is crazy. I know my body is regulating but cramps seriously like i need Motrin which is the only thing that helps the pain.

Despite the pain, I'm so HAPPY it is regulating for you!!!!!! That is amazing! Pop some Tylenol in...I know Motrin seems to work better, but something is better than nothing at all! Are you able to use a heating pad? That will help alleviate some of the pain.

I bet it is because of the release of stored hormones in your fat cells. This means you are losing fat!!!

I haven't had a period in over 2.5 years and I don't miss them at all. I hope you feel better Sweet as peaches. I would take a couple of tylenol like newme said.

I was going to take some pain meds but I slept through the pain. I am up now so I will take some after eating. I have to get a heating pad cause i misplaced mine. I thought i was going through menopause but i squashed that idea. Hopefully, i will feel better so i can go to work tomorrow. Thank you ladies.
