    Panicking

I'm very new to all this (operation was on 31/3/17), but the advice I have had is that you should eat more than twice a day. I know that may seem odd as to how to lose weight, but eating smaller and oftener is better than two larger meals. Eating more often will keep you feeling fuller, therefore you won't eat so much as you probably do when only having the two meals. Before I had the operation, I lost some 16 pounds by changing my habit of not eating during the day then really going for it in the evening. Instead I ate small and often and it focussed on things like lettuce, tomato, cucumber, beetroot with a small amount of meat or say scrambled eggs. Maybe give this a go? Good luck!

    Weight gain?

So glad its not just me! I am 3 days post op and up 2 pounds. I thought it likely to be water retention etc, but its depressing all the same as i have had only a tiny amount of calories and have been as active as the pain allows. Thanks!
