I hate my scale.... its broken... or I am

So my sx was May 31. I feel amazing. So far I am down from 270 to 250. However, the past week and a half my scale has not moved! I have been drinking water and following my diet very strict. I do see changes in my body atrophy but the scale still freaks me out. It makes me get that feeling when prior to sx, dieting and working out... stepped on the scale and I'd see no improvements. Has anyone else had this experience. It makes me feel like failure I know I sound ridiculous, but I walk 2 miles a day, I'm super active bf I drink about 80ml of water a day. -

Hi! My surgeon was really good about it considering that marijuana is a clean smoke depending on how you consume it. Vaporizing is one of the best ways to consume marijuana. I didn't quit anytime before surgery, however my surgery was May 31 and I no longer choose to consume marijuana for various reasons and the grand old munchies ! Maybe in a years time I will partake but for right now I'm focusing on my body healing and doing what it does best on its own without any influence of outside matter. Good detox sesh. However, I did ask my surgeon if it was OK and she said that it was because there are no properties in marijuana that would contradict the surgery. Just listen to your body meditate and really get to understand how you are feeling. No one can tell you when or when not to start or too. Good my sleeve sista!! Most Sincere, Amanda

That's awesome!! It's all bout the changes you make and what you eat. Fast foood smells so damn good but if I eat it I know 1 of two things will happen. lol when I was in Italy it was so different. American food is crappy lol but smells sooooooo good. I just am so in the habit of prepping my self. I want it so bad. Nothing is going to get in my way... hooooweeeverrrrr if you're talking about twinkles and cake.... that's my weakness. I haven had anything like that in over 2 months and luckily my sugar tweeks are no longer. They better not come back!!!!

You're pretty lucky to be able to eat fast food before and after surgery and not get sick. I can't eat it now, preop, I get very sick. I don't like fast food I don't trust the way it is handled I rather cook my own Even from I have to eat it cold. I rather cook my own chicken and not risk additinal naughty nutrition. I'm hoping I don't get any crazy cravings for things I don't like now due to this big change. I personally would never shove anything sort of fast food in my mouth I would make it and take it with me even if it is cold I'm just very anal retentive like that however everyone is different . Congrats on your success and amazing size !! I hope am as successful in reaching my goals as you did. I am going into figure in bikini competitions 2 year Post op!! I am already working with A trainer and nutritionist who has had the sleeve surgery as well I am excited !!!!! 💜💜🎉🎉

Of course over eating is a cause of weight gain. I must have miss understood you when you said "but some of us didn't eat unhealthy food to get to this weight".
-
Yaaaaaaa right! I beg to differ!!!!! I completely understand your statement! I do I have horrible endocrine issues that I can starve myself and not loose a #. I get it!! I'm also in nursing. Sooooo it's hard for me to sit hear and believe that a person didn't eat "one ounce" of unhealthy food to get where they are. That's bs. You and I didn't get to where we are by eating good wholesome food. That's where reality needs to be a big part of people's success.
