  1. I think they can measure either way. I think the best way is without your shirt, but with your bra still on. They just measure over the bra. They are very professional. Once you find a style you like, you can also look on ebay and find them a lot cheaper sometimes. Victoria's Secret goes up to 40DD. So once you get smaller, you could go there and have them measure you, then you could find the VS bras on ebay. I can't afford to shop there either, but I buy them a lot on ebay. I found a VS pushup bra on ebay that I really like.

  2. i was in a size 16 when I got married almost 6 years ago (in november will be 6yrs) I used to think I was big back then, and now that i'm in a size 22 i'll never think that again if I can get to a 16. I was just approved and my surgery date is October 6th. I keep thinking I'll be ok if I can just get to a 14/16, however there is always that thought that what if I'm the only one this doesn't work for. I'm not worried about the eating part, I've changed all my bad habits for good ones over the last year but with a multitude of other things that have happened the weight just hasn't come off.......at least i've maintained. I just keep thinking there will be some sort of malfunction. I am really hoping to be one hot mama by the time my husband returns from Afghanistan in April 2010. He'll have been gone an entire year by the time I see him again, and although he can't keep his hands off me as it is, I still just want to be sexier for him or at least confident enough to do it with the lights ON when he wants hahahaha

Congrats on being approved for the surgery! Do you know when you'll be having it? The last time I was in a 16 (before now) I think was about 10 years ago. I thought I was huge too. I don't think that now. I had no idea what huge was back then. I feel good at this size, but I do want to go down some more and get out of the plus sizes. Don't worry, the surgery will work for you. Everyone thinks it won't work at first. I thought the same thing. And even when the weight started coming off, I still didn't believe it. It takes a while for your mind to catch up. Your husband probably won't recognize you next year!

  3. Well, whether you're vomiting Protein Shakes or double-double cheeseburgers, the result is the same. So... which would you rather have? Cuz I promise, you will vomit either way. What they don't tell you is that is how you lose the weight. The band works like a mini trampoline which bounces everything back up. So enjoy the burger. Before it comes back up, of course...

Well, I think I'll try the triple cheeseburger from Wendy's. Do you think that will work?

  4. I've had my band 3 hours and I just got home from the hospital and I hate it and i want it out. can I just go back and get it removed? will insurance pay?

They will only pay if you are pretty and have big boobs. Oh yea, you have to be blonde too.

  5. I've fallen and I can't get up...(not to be confused with can't get it up) See eBay for used up "parts" that used to go up but don't now 'cause my man got hisself one of those bands....

Well, gee didn't they tell him that would happen? He can't have sex again. That's how the band works.

  6. He said something stupid about he had too many employees and had to let someone go. I've been there for 3 years!! I had been there longer than most anyone. I think it's because I have been out so much with medical problems. I also worked with a back stabber who I think got me fired. Her friend was needing a job and I just found out that she was hired to replace me. But it's ok. I am going to try to get unemployment. I don't know if I'll be able to, but it's worth a try anyway.
