I agree, tampons or maxipads would scare them off for sure!!
-
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels that way! I can see trimming, but going bald is too far for me!
-
I have natural curly hair too. But I have to keep mine long. It doesn't look good short. I look like orphan Annie!
-
I don't shave it all either. I guess I'm the only one who doesn't like that prepuberty look!
-
I had no idea what that meant either!
-
Maybe they will learn something!

Lilmiss, I did the same thing. I binged really bad before surgery. Now I wish I hadn't because it only added to how much I have to lose now.
-
I don't have a problem with it. I think women post in the men's room as well.

Does the lap band change your bowels?
Carrie_C replied to Startingover!'s topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I have IBS as well and I was very worried that the band would make it worse. But it has actually made it better. I was just banded on May 22. I don't have a fill yet, and that might change things then. But for now, I have been fine. The first week of clear liquids I did have water stools, but that is normal. I haven't been banded long, but I am SO glad I did it. -
I don't know what the pain is caused from. But mine used to hurt a lot more, and I was even fatter then. So I am not sure. I really hate it too, especially when you want to wear a bathing suit. Mine really shows then. But I have long hair, so sometimes I can cover it that way. I think they might be hereditary. My Mom actually has them on her ankles. I just want mine gone!!

I am only allowed to walk too for the first 4 weeks. And not even a fast paced walk.
-
I know what you mean. I had surgery 5/22 and the first week was very hard. But it does get better each day.
-
Yes, I have one of those!! I thought I was the only one! I have had mine since I have been fat. I asked the doctor about it once and she said it is called a lipoma, basically just like you said, a fat pocket. Mine hurts too from time to time. I am hoping it goes away once I lose weight. If it doesn't I am going to have it surgically removed once I reach my goal.

Period with Hemmoriods/Constipation.
Carrie_C replied to Froggi's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I usually have the opposite problem, major diarrhea. -
Amen to that!!
-
I voted no. I don't think I have much of a problem in that area. I carry most of my weight in my butt and legs, but I guess it would make a difference for people who carry their weight in their stomach. But I will probably definitely need a boob lift.

I had surgery on 5/22 and I wasn't supposed to start exercising until the second week. I am only supposed to walk for 10 minutes a day. Then next week I am supposed to do 20 minutes, then 30 the next. After that week, they said I can do as much as I want, and any kind of exercise. I love to swim, and I will be so glad to be able to do that again.

Blund, I don't blaim you, I wouldn't ask either!!

Would you get breast implant.....??
Carrie_C replied to gg2007BandSTAR's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I don't think I would get implants, I have always had big boobs, but I will probably get a lift in a few years when I have lost all my weight. Mine have always been saggy though, even when I was thin. -
I am only 30, but my boobs have always been saggy. I am hoping they get better as I lose weight, but I am afraid they will get worse. I wear a DD now, and I would LOVE to go down to about a C.

We waited a little over a week. My doctor said it would be fine as soon as I felt up to it.
-
I didn't have to do a preop diet, so I didn't lose any before surgery. I had my surgery on 5/22 and I have lost 8 pounds in a little over a week. I just started exercising today, so I am hoping that helps.
-
I agree that the fatigue from lack of calories is the worst. There's no way I could have gone back to work while I was still on clear liquids. I would have passed out on the floor from weakness!
-
Hi, I had my surgery on 5/22. I had to do clear liquids for the first week. I am now on the second week and I can have full liquids. Next week I can have soft foods for 1 week and then the next week I can eat whatever I want. I am eating a lot of the same foods as you and I feel fine as long as I don't eat too fast. I think you should be ok. Congrats on the 19 pounds!!

I had pain for about a week and I had to take the same pain meds. It does get better. You should be feeling better in a few days.
