I think a healthy debate is out of the question on this matter, especially when people are so closed minded and think that they are right and everyone else is wrong. -

What I meant was, you think your interpretation of the constitution is right, and everyone else's interpretation of the constitution is wrong. -

Thanks, I'm not letting them get me down, lol. I just find it amusing that gadget thinks everything she reads and posts is the truth and everything anyone else reads and posts is big made up lies. -

Actually, I think it is the 9th and 14th amendment, which states "No State shall deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law." Not allowing a woman to have an abortion is in violation of that. I have also read that when the Supreme court made it legal, they mentioned that a fetus is considered the woman's property and therefore, she can terminate it if she wishes. But when Norma McCorvey wanted to have an abortion, it was because she was raped. I think she only wanted to make it legal in certain circumstances, not like it is now. I found it interesting that after she became prolife, she made the following statement to congress, "It was my pseudonym, Jane Roe, which had been used to create the "right" to abortion out of legal thin air. But Sarah Weddington and Linda Coffee never told me that what I was signing would allow women to come up to me 15, 20 years later and say, "Thank you for allowing me to have my five or six abortions. Without you, it wouldn't have been possible." Sarah never mentioned women using abortions as a form of birth control. We talked about truly desperate and needy women, not women already wearing maternity clothes." -

I agree with you 100%. We should be afraid of people who want to take away our rights. If they make abortion illegal, what's next, making birth control illegal as well? It's sounds absurd, but it is entirely possible. -

I agree with you that child abuse is not just happeneing in black families. My mother and stepfather are foster parent, as I mentioned before, and the majority of the kids they have had have been abused in some way. And most of the kids they have had are white or biracial. -
You're not supposed to have sugar because it will keep you from losing weight. When I was on the liquid phase, I did eat things with sugar just to get the calories. But I think some doctors are afraid if you have sugar now, you are more likely to have it later when you can eat real food again, and that's not going to help you lose weight.

What is the rudest thing someone has said to you?!?!

I agree with everyone about breaking away from family who have treated us bad. My Mom was always the same way. She treated me horrible, worse than anyone else ever has. She made me feel so bad one day when I was at her house, that I just walked out the door without saying a word and left. I didn't speak to her for 2 months. I guess she had a lot of time to think during that split. And one day she showed up at my house to make up. We talk now, but we will never be really close. She doesn't say anything anymore about my weight, except to ask me how much I have lost since having surgery. I remember once, this guy I really loved dumped me, and I was really upset. She told me if I would lose some weight and get a make over that I would find someone. She never thought I'd find anyone else. So imagine her surprise when I met my husband and he loved me just the way I was. We got engaged 5 months after meeting. I think she is still surprised that I found someone to love me. -
No problem. I know a pound doesn't sound like much to lose, but it feels good to get on the scale each week and actually see it go down insead of up, even if it is a small amount. And 1.5 pounds does add up fast.

Do they have a lot of calories? Walmart has some I was looking at and they were $1.97. But I don't remember the protein content.

That's not what I said at all. I think a lot of women have children they don't want because they are afraid of what people will think if they get an abortion. So they have it anyway. Then they abuse and neglect the child because it was unwanted. I was saying it is worse to do that than to just get the abortion in the first place. -
Do they even make protein pills?
-
Biotin has done absolutely nothing for my hair.

I think it is worse to have a child you neglect and abuse than to have an abortion. -

Yes I think you should have some taken out. I was having some of the same problems, and I went yesterday and had some taken out. It is much better today. -
I have hiccups ALL the time.

I have drank a few cokes, maybe 2 or 3 since surgery. I didn't like it. It just did not feel right. My stomach felt really bloated. And they just didn't taste the same after months of not having one. -
No, it doesn't stick out too far. At least I don't think it does. I don't notice it. Mine is probably in the same place as yours but my bra probably sits a little lower than yours because my boods are so big and saggy. :smile2:

Those protein shakes are probably what is keeping you from losing. They really have a lot of calories after you add the milk. Some also have a lot of sugar. How many are you drinking a day? My doctor tells us not to drink those at all. You need to get your protein through solid food. I eat seafood a lot too, and I also like to eat baked chicken. Is it possible you are too tight? -
Well, it's stiched into the skin or whatever is there, not my ribs. It's kinda hard to explain. It's right below the middle of my bra.
