    Benign positional vertigo

I never thought about seeing a chiropractor. Good idea.
  2. Does anyone else have this? I was at the ER today because I was so dizzy. They said I have this and gave me some medicine. I feel a little better, but still a little fuzzy. I have been feeling like this since Tuesday. Does it get better?

    fibromyalgia

I have never been formally diagnosed with it, but I have all the symptoms. Massage seems to help me more than anything. Exercise helps too. I have a lot of fatigue. I have never tried any medications for it, but I used to work in a doctor's office and we had a lot of patients that were on lyrica for it.

    Benign positional vertigo

Good question. I've never really noticed. I think I spin all over.

Were is all my Chattanoogians at?

We have our first test tomorrow. I feel like I know the material, but the way they ask the questions is what I'm worried about. All the stress is making my band tighter, but I guess that's a good thing because I haven't been feeling a lot of restriction lately.

    Benign positional vertigo

Thanks. I am feeling much better now. But I still feel really dizzy when I first lay down or when I move my head a certain way. It is a very strange feeling.
  7. You know what I think is rude??? People telling you that you look SO much better after losing weight and paying attention to you when you lose weight, when they couldn't care less about you before when you were fat!! That's what's under my skin right now!!

Corliss is right. You have lost a lot. I have been stuck at this weight for months.

    Never Again...

I totally agree about not getting on the scale much. I only weigh once a week. If you do it everyday it will drive you crazy.

punkster do you work as a nurse now? Does anyone here have a myspace?

Thanks, I didn't know you were a nurse. I am going to Cleveland State. I hope to finish in 2011. We start clinicals October 2. I am really nervous about that. I have been a medical assistant for years, but this is a whole different ball game. Where do you work? Thanks. I am hoping my weight loss will start back up again. I seem to starve when I am at school. I could probably use another fill, but I really can't afford it right now.

I am here. I started nursing school last week so I have been really busy. My weight loss has stalled. I really need some motivation.
  13. Yes, it's true, your feet will shrink! Mine did anyway!

    Never Again...

Erykah, I don't know if you've been to the seminar yet, but the Lap Band isn't permanet. It can be removed if something goes wrong. I know how you feel, I had a lot of the same thoughts before I had surgery, but after I educated myself about the band, I felt so much better. I was like you also, I exercised and I also took phentermine for a long time. It works for awhile, but it doesn't work forever and I haven't read any studies, but I will bet that the majority of people who lose weight on it gain it all back plus more. It is not good for you. I have never regreted getting the band. Good luck.

What do you have to do for the walk? Just register? Is there a fee? I haven't been exercising at all I have to admit. I haven't exercised since before my endometriosis surgery. I really need to get back on the treadmill. I would love to meet everyone too!

    Sending out a serious SOS...

    Sending out a serious SOS...

I am in nursing school right now, but I worked in a very busy doctor's office right after my surgery and I just recently quit to attend nursing school. I know how frustrating it is to not have time to eat like you are supposed to. The doctor I worked for wouldn't even give us breaks and lunch was always rushed. It is very hard to chew right when you don't have time. I used to just take soup to work and eat that for lunch. I would also take yogurt and things like applesause. I know these are all slidder foods, and we aren't supposed to eat them alot, but sometimes we have no choice. I always found that yogurt kept me pretty full. Another option is crackers. I don't know about you, but for me, anything crunchy goes down really well. I used to eat cheesits a lot. You can buy the small individual bags and they really aren't that bad as far as calorie wise and they do have some protein. Peanut butter crackers are another option, also protein bars. Just be careful with the bars, some have a lot of sugar. As far as exercise, there really isn't a lot you can do there, except maybe get in some extra workouts on your weeks off. Good luck!
  18. Mine is in the middle too. I am glad that it is there because like someone said earlier, the scar will be covered if I ever want to wear a bikini.

    "Woman" question!

I am told that it is normal. My period hasn't been right in over a year.
  20. I am 5'7 and weigh about 194. In pants, I am wearing a 16, but they are starting to get big, and I think I could fit into some 14s now. In tops, I'm an XL, but I have big boobs. I can wear a few larges, depending on how they are made. I am starting to see how clothes are made so different, even a lot of the same brands that are the same size fit so different. I am close to getting out of plus sizes and I can't wait until the day when I can shop on the OTHER side of the store.

    Endometriosis

I have been taking the birth control pills continuously now for about a month. I am having some bleeding, but it is on an off and not very heavy. I am wondering if it will stop if I continue to take the pills. But I do feel a lot better since having surgery. I just hope it is under control now with the pills.

    Endometriosis

I have been having a lot of irregular bleeding lately and a lot of pelvic pain. My doctor suspects that I may have endometriosis. I have to have an ultrasound on Monday to rule out any other problem. She said endometriosis won't show on an ultrasound, so if it doesn't show anything, then I will need to have surgery. I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem and what is done for it. Has anyone had to have a hysterectomy?
