Yes, it is another diet.
-
Yes they are. I will be glad to say goodbye to them!

Should people barely over 200 lbs or below 200 get Lapband or any WLS...?
Carrie_C replied to Froggi's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I don't think any of us really 'want' to go under the knife, but I didn't 'want' to be fat forever either. -
I saw a preview of one of her shows today and she is AGAIN talking about a NEW diet and exercise program she is going on. It's exhausting listening to her.
-
That is the same thing I was thinking.
-
Yes, that's how I feel.
-
That sounds like what I have on my back. Part of my reward when I lose some more weight is to have it removed!
-
I enjoy the compliments! Just smile and say thank you!
-
My husband is so mean one minute and so nice the next. That's also what makes it hard for me to leave.
-
I agree with that.
-
How did everyone do over the holidays? I didn't lose, but I also didn't gain, so I am happy.
-
I used to really like her, but I am really sick of her now. Everytime you turn on the tv she's there saying "I'm so embarrassed." Whatever. She should have retired a while back before she got so cocky and annoying.

What is the rudest thing someone has said to you?!?!
Carrie_C replied to auntlucy's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I have posted a few rude things that have been said to me, but the day after Christmas my Mom had a get together at her house. One of her friends I hadn't seen in a long time. I have lost almost 40 pounds since I saw her last. She saw me and said "Wow you look so much better since you lost all that weight!" I know it was supposed to be a compliment, but I was like, dang, did I really look THAT bad before?! -
Yes, I am noticing it more, too and I have lost about as much as you. I was stopped at a red light the other day and this guy beside me actually rolled down his window and said I was pretty!
-
Who said we watch her show? You don't have to watch her show to hear about her all the time. She is all over tv and magazines talking about how embarrassed she is. I don't watch her show anymore. Like I said, she was on ET last night.
-
I will be thinking of you all. Please come back and let us know how it went!
-
Well, she was on ET tonight going on and on again about how embarrassed she is. Give me a break.

To everyone about to have surgery, you all will do great!! I know it is scary right now, but anything worth doing usually is, and this is SO worth it! The surgery and liquid phases will be over before you know it and you will love seeing your body change! Don't forget to let us know how you are doing!
-
Thanks I will try it on Monday.
-
Yes, it is SO worth it. I had the same feelings, even as I was being wheeled into the OR, I was about to scream stop, I don't want to do it. I think everyone feels this way, and it is normal. Even right after the surgery, you may still feel that way. I did for about a week. I felt so horrible and I even had a crying spell. But my feelings quickly started to change when the scales moved and I started feeling better. You already know you can't keep it off without help, none of us could or we wouldn't be here. You know it is the best thing to do. Stay strong!

I know, I don't really believe Johnna. I think she looked at it wrong. She had to email someone in Dalton to tell them to mail me the check. So I am thinking when I get it in the mail, it is going to be a lot less. I'm sure the people in Dalton will figure it out right. They haven't cut me a check yet because my insurance just now finished paying for all of the fills and unfills I had to have. So in a way it wasn't their fault. But if Johnna would have just filed the insurance right in the first place, it would have all been straightened out a long time ago. Does anyone happen to have the number to the Dalton office? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
-
Well, I called Johnna yesterday because I paid more than I was supposed to for my surgery. I thought I was only supposed to get back around $300, but she quoted me as getting back much more, so I was just wondering if the program fee was included in my refund. I am very confused.
-
Has anyone ever gotten their $1000 program fee refunded after surgery?

Why is my hair falling out?
Carrie_C replied to cakegal's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mine comes out in the shower too. I don't think it's going to get any better either. It looks like the doctors could help some way, but they don't seem to care. -
Pictures don't tell the story- warning, in undies!

I see a big difference in your legs and butt. You probably just have some loose skin and that's why you can't tell. Definitely start taking you measurements. You will see a difference. I have been taking mine since surgery. I do bust, hips, waist, legs, and arms. Anytime I feel like I haven't lost anything, I just look at those numbers.
