  1. I'm dodging bullets here, but I actually agree with pattygreen's last sermon.
  2. I don't believe you WANT to understand either. For someone who disbelieves as much as you do, you sure are very defensive about it. Maybe that should tell you something.
  3. I see again that the point was totally lost on you. By the way, that quote was meant for Beth, not you.
  4. No one is running. As I explained to you, I don't have all the answers, nor do I pretend to. I don't know how Satan worshipers believe, but I doubt they pray to Satan or would want to before a game or any other time. The questions you are asking are just silly. If you believed, you would understand the value of prayer before a football game or any other time. Since you don't believe, no matter what we say, it won't matter to you and you will continue to argue about it.
  5. My thought exactly. I also believe that Jesus said if some don't believe, then just dust your shoes off and go on.
  6. No one is redirecting the topic. I just feel it is pointless to argue. No matter what you say, I am still going to believe the way I believe. I don't have all the answers. I don't know why God allows bad things to happen. I am the first to admit that I don't understand a lot of the Bible. But I know what I feel and I know what I believe, and nothing will change that. You feel the way you do, and nothing I say will make you believe otherwise, so it is a pointless argument.
  7. I believe Catholics and Baptist believe in the same God.
  8. My points were totally lost as well. I give up.
  9. I am losing feet fat too!!
  10. I don't see praying before a football game or having a moment of silence as being FORCED. If someone doen't want to participate, then they don't have to. But not being able to pray and not being able to have a moment of silence is FORCED. That's what I mean about taking God out of everything.

    Butter Tub Savers

No, you're not ridiculous. I don't do a lot of leftovers myself. My husband and I bring leftovers home from restuarants and they just end up sitting in the refrigerator and going bad.
  12. It is never God's plan for someone to be injured.
  13. I better not suggest that idea, because he might just like it!!! LOL!!
  14. I agree with you. While some atheists don't want our beliefs forced on them, some see no problem with forcing their beliefs on us. That's like some wanting "In God we trust" removed from the dollar bill. It has always been there, if someone doesn't want to read it, then they don't have to. I believe this country was founded on the belief in God and Jesus. You can read it in the constitution. I also think that most americans believe in God and Jesus in some way or another. I heard something on the radio the other day that was interesting. If most of us are believers, then why do we just sit around and not do anything about God being taken out of everything just to please atheists, when most of us are believers. It makes you think.
  15. I agree with you, no one should be forced to pray. That isn't what I meant at all. If during a moment of silence or a prayer at a football game, if some one chooses not to pray, that is fine, in fact, I wouldn't want it forced. That is just controlling people.

    Do you douche?

I'm glad to see there are some smart women on this board! I wish my patients were as smart!! A lot of them just won't stop no matter how many infections they keep getting. Most of them tell me they just feel like they need to. Most of them are older women, though, and I think it has to do with the way they were brought up. That's just what they did back then. Women weren't considered clean if they didn't do it. My mother used to douche all the time. Her doctor and I finally convinced her to stop a few years ago, and she has stopped getting so many infections. There are times though, when some women need medicated douches, like after cervical cancer treatment, and some other times, but that is very different.
  17. Unfortunately, a lot of people today still see women as unequal. My husband even thinks that women should still wear dresses all the time because it makes us more godly and closer to God!!!!!
  18. I totally agree with you, Kat. I also believe that living with certain attitudes makes life so much better, for us as well as those around us. Although I can understand why some are athiests, I do not agree with some athiests wanting to take prayer and God out of everything.

Were is all my Chattanoogians at?

    Well, I'm still mad!!!!
  20. I think a lot of religion was created to control people, especially to control women.

    Butter Tub Savers

I reuse stuff all the time. We don't use real butter, but we use the fake stuff. I buy the small containers and I have several in my cabinet now. I don't have a lot of leftovers, but I mostly use them for my cats water bowls. They work perfect. And when they get dirty or old, I just throw them away and use a new one. I don't know if I believe that about plastic being bad. All of our food comes in some kind of plastic.

Why do women have anal sex?

Yes, I've seen the movies with the girl and 2 guys. I do not understand that at all.
