Don't worry about what those women said! You are doing great! They are all just jealous!
-
My husband is the same way. He never said anything when I was heavier and he doesn't say anything now.
-
I'm not good at house work either! I HATE it!!!
-
I have been embarassed to go to the doctor, but I'm sure they see it all the time.

Actually, Jesus wants to be a friend. He wants to be like a best friend who you talk to about anything and everything. Nothing is too small for you to talk to him about. He wants to be like a friend you lean on in good times and bad. Oh no, I sound like a cheesy song now, so I'm going to end it there!

I don't blame you. I only started carrying a cell phone a few months ago. And the only reason I did was because I started nursing school and my Dad has been sick. I wanted him to be able to reach me if he needed to. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have one. It is just another bill to me.

That analogy works better to me than arguing that slavery and abortion are related. -
I know, it is awful. Maybe you should see you GYN just to make sure everything is ok.
-
I totally understand how you feel. None of my coworkers know I have the band. I have lost almost 50 pounds and only one has said something about it. Not a word from the others even though my scrubs are falling off and I know they have to notice. I also think it is jealousy. But I try not to let it get to me.

I had surgery in May and I just started having trouble with my period. I am on loestrin. I have been on it for over a year and I have never had a problem until recently. Last month I had my period for about 3 weeks and this month I have had it for about 2 weeks. I went to my GYN and she didn't find anything wrong. She said it is most likely from losing so much weight. She said she could change me to a different pill, but I would probably have the same problems. She said most women's cycles straighten out the closer you get to goal and the more stable your weight gets.

Everyone makes fun of me because I carry a small purse. But I don't see the point in carrying around a giant bag. All I need is my wallet, my calendar, and my cell phone. I don't understand why some women carry EVERYTHING in their purse.

I felt the most restriction on my second fill, but I am just weird! I had to go in about 3 weeks ago and have some more removed. Now I don't have much restriction. I can't seem to get it right. I am either too tight or not tight enough. I was just in Daytona Beach too! Small world!

This is a debate section. It says in the title "Off Topic"..... -
I don't know, that is a good question. What about the people who died before Jesus came? Did they go to heaven too, or was there such a thing as heaven before Jesus? Now I'm really confused!

I am 5'7, but I still love heels! I am definitely a girlie girl, but I'm not much into purses. I don't see the point in changing them out all the time. I have a cute little black one that I have used for years. It's the perfect size and it goes with everything. I don't have time to change purses everyday! I never was into the whole salon thing. I have natural curly hair and there's not much that can be done with it, so I don't see the point in going to a hairdresser. I only go in every now and then and get a trim. I also don't get manis and pedis. I never had the money for all that. But I do my own and I must say that I do a pretty good job! I do wear makeup and have since I was about 9!!

No, you don't have to do research on it, I was just wondering what you thought, because I have asked myself the same question and can't come up with an answer either. If all babies go to heaven, even aborted ones, it would make sense that they have a soul. But I guess that is a different topic. -

gadget, I only asked when you think a person is given a soul because that is the argument for a lot of people. They think that once an egg in fertilized, it is given a soul and therefore should not be aborted. -
That's the way to do it! Maybe she will get tired of it and leave!
-
It's funny that you should mention this because I heard a pastor talking about that not long ago. He said that there isn't anywhere in the world that hasn't heard about christ. I don't know how true it is, but it is interesting.

So gadget, if you don't think a fertilized egg has a soul, when does one have a soul? -
So I wonder who the father really is....

It seems to me that there is a lot of judgement on both sides. (Not just here, but everywhere).

I'm glad I don't live in North Dakota. It's bad enough living in Tennessee. -

What to do when your husband is against surgery?
Carrie_C replied to melliecat's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I understand how you feel because my husband was the same way. But I did it anyway because I needed to do it for myself. He is still not very supportive. The only support I really get is here on the boards. I guess that's why I stay on here all the time, lol. My advice to you is to do it anyway. No, it will not be easy afterwards if he is like my husband and still not very supportive. But it will all be worth it.
