Why would anyone go to Mexico for any type of medical treatment? Its Mexico, hello!

One full night, discharged late afternoon. Could not wait to get home.

I only wore a gown and hospital slippers until next day when I had IV out and I took a shower. Not too steady on my feet at first and slipper socks worked best. My hospital floor was only for post op bariatric patients so we were all in the same boat. Also, my hospital supplied lip balm and I used it up[emoji3]

My nut told me no prior to surgery. Only lean meats. A 1/4 cup is 5 grams sat fat. Maybe chicken liver would be a good alternative with only 0.6. But I guess you have to live a little somewhere.

It is fatty not lean. Best not to eat that.

I am still a bit sore. Walking is best

I am 6 days out and also exhausted. Just doing little things make me so tired. I am emotional drained as well. No regrets just gotta get thru this point. No purred for two weeks post op so i am already planning my first meal. [emoji3]

I am 6 days post op and feeling exhausted after little activity. Anyone else? I am getting in liquids and pushing protein but to no avail

Hard to get liquids in. Sipping water all day, have half premier protein shake for breakfast and half for dinner. A couple of teaspoons of greek yogurt for lunch. Each day is getter better.

Cant believe you are at work so soon. I am home two weeks. Also a desk job which I am doing at home. It takes the stress out of worrying about getting in the protein at the office. Good luck with everything.

I an three days post op band to sleeve. Took a little longer because of so much scar tissue. But its all good. I too had pain when I had band. Sometimes extremely uncomfortable.

Was banded 2012. Now 2 days from sleeve all approved by my insurance after doc did a peer to peer.

I am having band to sleeve in a couple of days. I never really got to the sweet spot no matter how hard I tried. Everytime I had the band tightened, I would get indigestion. I ate all the right foods and exercised 5 days/week. I did lose about 70 pounds but still in the obese category. Slowly I am gaining it back. I will let you know how I do. There are others on this forum who have had this done.
