Gastric Sleeve vs Gastric Bypass
Seahawks Fan replied to Rblack171's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
A Sleeve can be converted to a bypass if necessary but bypass cannot be modified. Both are permanent though. -
Are you drinking liquid calories? I was told to drink only water as much as possible but none 45 minutes before meals or 30 minutes after meals. I was also told to only eat hearty foods with little to no broth or juice. Tim

I couldn't agree more. I to fully intend to keep my surgery private. Just hope my wife can do the same. -

I'm almost there & hope there are no more delays. My biggest fear after meeting requirements is more requirements. -
Feel like a failure
Seahawks Fan replied to portuguesegal10's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Sleeve surgery is permanent & does not stretch. Lifestyle change is the answer. Only hearty foods no liquid calories & no water 45 minutes before meals or 30 minutes after. It's easy to forget the steps necessary to make this work. Go back to basics & eat as if you just had surgery again. Follow the plan & results will return. -
I was told as little liquid calories as possible.

Theses are the types of things I need to hear & don't want to experience. I hope you have found resolve.
