Only lost 2 pounds in the last 18 days. On the good side I had to hold my shorts up with one hand while running 7 mph on the treadmill or they would’ve been around my ankles while I shot across the room like a missile! I’ve held out as long as I can. Time to skip a size & drop from 2XL to a Large.

Congrats!

What is a realistic WL monthly target?

Realistically I lose inches when I don’t have weight loss. There’s no real answer to this question. -
Easy as pie! The same pie I gave up to make this happen.

Just load up a playlist & start busting. I have a few great playlists to sweat to. I go with my kids & put them in child watch while I workout then when I’m done I take them swimming.

I think that’s an excellent choice!

Yes gaining muscle mass can actually make it appear like your stalling when in fact your burning more fat & losing inches.

Drinking - just wondering

I eat meat & produce & on occasion a protein bar. Try out the MyFitnessPal app & start researching sources of protein. Always eat your protein first before other foods. There are also Birdseye protein blends packs that are delicious. I get them at Walmart. You can also eat nuts. I average 90 grams of protein per day. Drinking - just wondering
Seahawks Fan replied to Minerva1113's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was actually told at my 3 month appointment that research has shown it doesn’t matter if you drink before you eat but to wait 30 minutes after. I’ve been drinking before meals since that day with no issues whatsoever. As for protein shakes try to stay clear of them unless you have no other option. I quit drinking protein after my restrictions were lifted & have had no problems getting my protein in each day. I do have protein powder available in case I need it for whatever reason. I eat lean protein & produce fruits/veggies almost exclusively but I do have a slice of pizza or a cheeseburger with no bun once a month. I’ll never get in the habit of eating something like that more than that again but once a month is definitely not going to do damage & I feel that I deserve it. I workout hard & log everything daily. Best of luck! -

I had very hairy legs my entire life then over the past few years I lost all the hair on my legs. I had surgery in January & since then my leg hair has come back in full. Not even sure what to say about lost hair for me it’s the opposite. -
Have it anyway!

Thank you kindly. It was quite good! -
In spite of my goal being 250 pounds (soon to be 200 after I reach 250) I’m thrilled to have dropped out of the Obese class 3 category. Normal weight is not to far off now!

Thanks 250 is not that far away! -
Garden of life is my favorite! I also use Orgain & Vega. Garden of life has been on sale at Costco for 19.99 for a while. Not sure if it still is but it’s by far the best I’ve had! I mix Garden of Life & Orgain together sometimes. One scoop of each is 30 grams of protein & low carb/calories.
