Exactly my meaning. Why not spend more money for the good stuff when meals are typically 4-6 ounces. It’s like a plate at a five star restaurant instead of a bag of burgers from McDonalds. -

Any January 2018 Sleevers?

I’m right there with you. I went out to dinner a couple of times & had steak & jumbo shrimp before I started the pre-op but I really wanted to go to the casino for the prime rib buffet before I did this. Oh well! I plan on eating small portions of delicious (expensive) lean cuts of meat & seafood with fresh fruits & veggies. The days of Quantity are passed time for the more expensive quality meals. I also love to cook so that’s a plus. Here’s to delicious 4-6 oz meals! -

How did it go? Mines on the 18th. -
I think not if it doesn’t become a habit. Maybe even half of a slice. Nice job on the weight loss!

What can I drink after weight loss surgery?

Water is the best thing you can drink after surgery! I also really like infused water. -
What can I drink after weight loss surgery?
Seahawks Fan replied to Francisco82's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Almond milk is good. The 30 calorie a serving comes in vanilla to. I was told to stay away from liquid calories but at 30 calories a cup I’ll drink it once in a while. -

December Sleevers - What did you have for lunch today?
Seahawks Fan replied to timarland's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I’m on the pre-op diet with surgery on the 18th. But with small portions in the near future I plan to eat expensive cuts of lean meat and seafood like King Crab, Jumbo Shrimp, and smoked salmon that I would not have normally bought as often in the past. Having small portions will allow me a little more freedom to buy quality over quantity. Of course the portions will be smaller but the food will be better. I’m looking forward to a small piece of delicious protein and fresh fruits and vegetables. The possibilities are endless! I wouldn’t be to concerned with a stall early on just think forward to 6 months or a year. That’s when you’ll yield results. I think you’ll be just fine. -

These are great and come in different flavors. I use a scoop of each per shake for over 30grams of protein. -

Don’t have doubts. I’ve been there & done that. I backed out of surgery on May 30th 2017. I was in the hospital with the iv in & didn’t go through with it & now I regret that decision. A friend had surgery that same day & has lost well over 100 pounds already. I’m now rescheduled for January 18th. You got this! I’m asking for the Adivan as soon as I can get it when I arrive at the hospital to calm my nerves. Good Luck!
