Has Anyone Kept Their Surgery A Secret?

I had my surgery on April 11th. I had wished to keep it pretty secret from people that weren't immediate family. I guess I didn't make that clear enough to my husband though because now all of my work and our church knows as well. I had some negative people be ugly about it. That's what I was trying to avoid. Too late now. I'm just dealing with it. -
I was told to lay on my left side if I could and rub my tummy, kind of patting it gently too. It has helped me with getting rid of some of the gas. so sorry to hear of your sports bra mishap. Sounds painful!! Wishing you lots of luck with recovery and gas issues.

I was the only RNY in my nutrition class. Seems to be the more popular choice now. I had my RNY on Tuesday morning came home midday Thursday. Not super hungry, not in extreme pain. It's hard to drink as much as they want you to but I'm trying. My biggest obstacle is the itching from the adhesive on my belly and this terrible headache I can't kick.

My date is scheduled for April 11th. I am getting quite nervous but also very excited.
