I am so glad to hear that you are doing ok and that you have not taken hardly any pain meds. This is just awesome. Were you in only one night? I am very happy for you. @Sosewsue61 Where are you having your surgery done? Do you have a lot of pre-programs to complete before your surgery? Full of questions here. I am having my done in St. Louis. I feel that that is a great fit for me. Little one do keep you busy don't they! My life changed a lot since they came into our lives. We have just bought a 100 year old house, hopefully we will be moving in around the 17 of May. If my surgery gets scheduled for then I guess the husband will be moving us. LOL Please keep in touch. Jeanne56. There has been times that I have felt like a stalker on here because I have read so much but in doing that I have learned also. I have been working on this for 9 years. I have found a wonderful clinic that has gone above and beyond especially after the last one which for me was a joke. I hope we can keep in touch. I do need a buddy!

I am waiting on insurance approval and then date. I am 60 with b-day of 5/15. I have done changes of no smoking and I am at one week if no caffeine. Spoke with my insurance and they have assured me I should have no problem with the approval. Really excited for my next phase

My husband knows and is very supportive. I called my best friend who lives in another state and was surprised when she shared with me she is having he same surgery. The way our dates are going well should have ours about the same time.

I have tried and like the Fortress Powder. I found it at Walmart. As for the suppliments I went to CVS and was able to stock up on enough for a three months supply for $35.00. They only thing I didn't get was my muliti-vitamin and that was because I was unsure about what to get.

You might try the Garden of Life. It is a vegetable protein.

You are going to do absolutely fabulous. Keep us posted on your progress!

I am right there with you. I am 60 and having the Sleeve done. I am also wanting more control with my fibromyalgia. It has been a long road but I do see an end in sight and a better lifestyle.

A little update. My appt went wonderfully I am excited about the clinic. Everyone was very friendly, professional, and answered my questions and concerns. All I am waiting on is final insurance approval. I am super excited
