I had my surgery on February 28 I weighed 196 on the day of surgery today I'm at 166. The team that I'm going though is very pleased of my weight loss. At this rate I will be 140 is before my 4th b day. God bless everyone on their weight los. Sent from my SM-T230NU using BariatricPal mobile app

Yes I had to jump though hoops too. I am the smallest of four so I was born to be big. I went to the same doctor that did my mom's surgery. He yes I need to do it but I did not have any of the medical issues. They finally got me though with sleep apnea. Don't second guess yourself it is the best thing you can do for your health.
